15:59 Jingles, I believe he couldn't fire because he couldn't depress the gun enough :D The one Achilles heel of the flakbus. It can elevate at 90 degrees but it can't depress.
Okay, I meant earlier, my time stamp was a bit...off, for a lack of better word. I'm guessing maybe his gun was damaged. Or gunner was wounded. Well, I've got no other explanation, otherwise. EDIT:Still, having -2 degrees of gun depression is awful. Good thing the gun and the mobility of the TD at least makes up for it
Paul Berger Indeed you can. Pretty hilarious when you look at the darn thing poking it's giant 'gun' into the sky. So it can penetrate the sky better :D The 90 degrees of elevation makes for some interesting moments though :P
just wanted to thank you jingles, your videos have been helping me fight my depression for tthe past year. especially the why you heff to be mad series.
Bronwynn Caladiea, I've been fighting with it for a couple years now myself. Just take each day one at a time, and try to keep focusing on the things that help, like these videos. Just know you are not alone, and that even though some days it doesn't feel like it, things get better. Keep fighting the good fight...
Love that quote at 24:28, that's practically the key to doing better in random matches and would explain why I can't get good matches at one in the morning when half asleep
JIngles! you made me very happy! Finally some footage of your own again and you know, you commenting your own footage is somehow just better, because you played and knew why you did things like that. Looking forward to more of this!!
The 76mm with the heavily armored turret is fantastic on the sherman jumbo. You loose a bit of reload time but you also save a lot of hp working ridge lines. Really powerful way to play the tank.
Yeah, I had noticed the great rate of fire of the 122mm gun on the SU-152 and I had planned on using it when I unlocked the tank, but then I had just so much fun with the 152mm howitzer, which works so great on the SU-152 because of its good reverse speed that allows you to derp people in the face and then scoot back behind cover before they can shoot back, that I just stuck with the howitzer and never used the regular cannon.
It's good to hear that you're enjoying World of Tanks again Jingles. There's nothing worse than forcing your self to do something with no reason, especially if you don't enjoy it. I also want to say that platooning with friends also makes World of Tanks much better, I'm saying go start streaming again, but playing a few games with Eddy or Rita without streaming, platooning just for fun will greatly enhance your gaming experience, it worked for me.
thanks for the tip on this jingles swapped out the 152mm and have loved this tank ever since iv'e also found alot of players just sit there when hit with the 1st shot and are shocked when 6.2 secs later the follow up shot slams them
And here goes Jingles again. Have you forgotten that E2, T1 Heavy and therefore M6, don't actually have LFP as weakspot? It's actually most armoured part on the front, apart from turret.
I liked the end of the video - no seriously, the advice at the end is solid for everybody from a newbie to even the experts. I know I personally get caught up in trying to do intermediate to advanced tactics and start failing - sometimes it's best to just get a reminder to stick to the basics and keep it simple.
"The M4 Sherman is perhaps the best T5 medium." Jingles. Jingles. The Sherman III has basically the same stats, but more HP, and better gun handling, plus access to the 6pdr.
Great video. Very informative advice too . Staying alive is best way to do more damage, help the team and win battles. Wish you played on NA and did streamer platoons like RitaGamer and some others.
The 105mm on the M4 is definitely much more reliable than on the jumbo. I just can't ever use the non-derps on the shermans. They're way too inaccurate, even for someone who's used to Russian accuracy. Basically, my thought is, "If I'm going to have an accuracy over 0.4 then I might as well be using a derp"
gotta love the elc's health pool, i shall forever member the moment on siegfried line where i snap shoted an elc in my T34 and did 399. As me and my mates say 'god wills it'
just so you know hahaha, jingles, when you fire at tracks, (that now are accounted for as spaced armor) HE will not penetrate the actual hull of the tank but explode in the tracks and probably just cause spalling damage to it depending on the caliber of the gun.
RE: SU-152-122. I got my 1 and only Pools' medal using that gun on my SU-152. It's pen is not so reliable and it's not so accurate and it's difficult at Tier 9 but it's got DPM that will make your eyes water, I swap between it and the 152mm howitzer regularly, each gun has its merits.
i love the m4 Sherman. its my favorite tank. i have the 105 on it and it works fine for me. its a pain when im the last one alive going against cromwells and kv2s but every now and then match making is kind and i get to kill some tier 3s
Jingles you know that the water wheel on pearl river can make you fly, there are other areas on other maps as well, serene coast, ghost town, Kharkov and ensk
The BL9S on the ISU152 was an epic gun too, it doesn't have the "oh fuck" rating the BL10 has, but a faster firing version of the IS3's gun is nothing to sneeze at.
The toaster a stealthy machine? What a joke. That thing gets spotted from across the map, and then immediately eats 15 shells at once and dies. The reason it didn't fire at you is due to its incredible lack of gun depression.
I'm with ya there, Jingles. I stopped playing a year ago because the game was getting a bit stale. I think it's a great game, but after 2 years with WoT, I decided it was time to move on. I'm always down to check out other competitive multiplayer titles.
Well, the M4 game was possible because your team was able to handle the other fronts and the enemy just walked into your field of view. With my luck I'd take the same position and the enemy would avoid that flank. But your point is very valid.
Nice tip in that M4 battle, Jingles. Any chance of you making more WoT tips vids? I've been playing for years now & still suck more or less as bad as I did when I first started. Some more advice like that would really be helpful.
fnglert well i dont know how much sense he can talk. He just said use your head and dont suck. Well i am not a girl nor i have girlfriend but i dont think there is another way of sucking without using head
On the subject of possible alternative game for you once you're bored of World of Warships, I would suggest Total War: Arena. Its similarly styled in its progression system as WoW and WoT but it is an RTS in which you can command up to 3 units of various types including sword infantry, spearmen, a variety of ranged units like javelin throwers and even siege engines at later tiers. It features a commander system which enables specific unit factions to be available. Playing as Ceasar enables the Romans, as does Germanicus. Playing as Leonidas however enables Greek units. Each commander can be upgraded for further army wide special abilities which can be used on a cooldown which could give you the edge in an engagement. I fully recommend it.
jingles you are amazing and it was amazing to meet you at tankfest i hope i can meet you again. i am from newcastle i was wearing the dpm brittish sarmy/navy/airforce uniform i gave you some thorntans toffee and some newcsatle brown
I too have noticed some really odd damage rolls especially on the underside of these tanks. It seems the Armour is super thick there too... And wouldnt possibly almost always instantly ammo rack any tank as its usually stored by the feet of the crew. That HE shell should have gone right through. They need to do something about those tier 6 shermans. the 76mm guns suck and the 105mm durp seemingly has been nerfed.
Since you're in this nice "back into wot" kinda mood I'd love to see you play the hidden menace of Tier IV. I'm talking of course of the Alecto....but not with the common swashbucklers choice of the 3.7 inch howitzer. No, no ,no, the gentleman tank driver opts of course for the the Mk IV 6 pounder gun. it's basically an E25 at Tier 4. :)
Well I figured it might be taking up too much space though you'd think a computer that can run the 8GB+ War Thunder would have no issue with the much smaller World of Warships
***** Let me rephrase it. Download a metric shitton of updates on my crappy connection, play one insgnificant and laggy battle, get a tank/garage space I'll never use - not worth my time.
Ace tanker was also achieved because your team didn't implode on the other flanks...had I taken your position in the M4 I promise I'd be wolf packed from the center or town sides of the map. Ace tanker requires good play...but often decent support as well...which can be such a rarity in this game
Jingles now i know why i like you, you have a sense of humor...unlike some other you tubers....aka sidestrafe. Who would think he would get upset because you went after him, lol
Just to summarize my last week or so: dinged AMX with my 105 JPTII cannon; two dinges shooting FV304 with my Tiger; countless of dings shooting my 90mm that a Hellcat has (sides of Cromwells etc). RNG is the main pain in the azz in WoT.
As for the pronounciation of the leFH18B2: its a german artillery piece (leFH 18, leichte Feldhaubitze '18, light field howitzer model of 1918) on a french chassis (B2). The le in leFH is not the french article "le", but the abbreviation of the german word "leicht" (light). Its just pronounced like it written-in single letters: l-e-f-h (german like: "el-ay-eff-ha").
Jingles, 7:37 the turning speed is bleh, I'm pretty sure the SU 152 does turn faster than that, were you using a 75% crew or standard tracks? I'm pretty sure it turns faster.. Also I don't really like the ISU152 with the first 152mm howitzer, it doesn't perform as well as it should against higher tiers, how did you manage to do well ? I sold the ISU, trying to gain enough free xp for the BL 10 :(
The Mighty Jingles Your mistake I using the 10,5 cm on Tier 6. You unlock it at Tier 4 & Tier 5 for a reason. Use it on the M4 and the British M4 and you will have fun 1 shotting T67's.
at 3:30 Wait...you can click on the gunner to heal him?? Cool, but why not quickly press 4 for the medkit and 2 for the gunner. ( i think the 2 is the gunner). It's faster, right?
Jingles I was wondering if you knew anything about the PWRR our local regiment as a member of 1st battalion I was surprised how little people know about us, especially considering we're the British army's most senior line infantry
They 105 used to be a finesse gun, as you said flanking and rear shots and getting into position to do them was a interesting game style. The problem is they have nerfed HE in general and HE on these tanks so much that what you found out is the norm now. HE pen is just a fiction and sry to hark onto a old subject but yet another of the many problems caused by gold ammo for silver. PRe that no one ever complained about these derp guns being op except maybe for the kv-2 :)
Jingles, the 105 mm on the Tier 5 Sherman is the best gun to use hands down, even with the firerate nerf, I can still wreck everything, the accuracy rating is a lie aha. I also recommend putting Cola in it, in fact, put Cola in all the Shermans, that's how good the are to me,
Both M6 and T1H have their strongest frontal armor in that whole lower section. Not sure it goes all the way where you shot it but that part remains their strongest armor... Don't aim there... Just aim at their massive and very weak sides. Next the T29 has massive tracks, that absorbs almost the entire damage of your shell.
I always found it strange that most american tankers who worked with the Sherman preferred the 75mm over the 76mm. The difference in caliber is only 1mm, and I guess in theory that should be better, right? Was it something to do with ammo availability, or maintenance, or something else?
NJP695 Well, first of all, it was the longer barrel and higher velocity of the 76mm that must've caused it. Most American tankers in the Sherman were used to the explosive punch of the 75mm, and I guess they never liked the tank-to-tank combat against the bigger and better panzers (they got tank destroyers for that business) so maybe that's why they didn't like the 76mm as much.
NJP695 Mainly that the 75mm was a low velocity gun, the 76.2mm was a high velocity gun. This means that the casing for the high explosive ammunition has to be thicker, because if the casing is too thin then the shell will just detonate when it is being fired. Since the casing is thicker it means there is less explosive in the actual shell. This means when they switched from the low velocity 75mm to the high velocity 76.2mm the anti tank capabilities were boosted massively, But the anti infantry capabilities took a major hit which was the main reason the american tankers didn't like the new 76.2mm. I believe this was mainly due to the fact that the shermans on the western front rarely fought tanks and were mostly fighting infantry or anti tank guns which a 76.2mm won't be as effective against.

Jingles, I believe he couldn't fire because he couldn't depress the gun enough :D
The one Achilles heel of the flakbus.
Good thing the gun and the mobility of the TD at least makes up for it
+fgjsdog gun depression is how far you can point your gun down.... the falk bus was not in a position to fire at him with that gun at that time..
Harbinger Reaper I saw in in tank inspector and saw it could elevate at 90... can it really elevate at 90?
Paul Berger Yes it can, but you have to do it in sniper view, because arcade view has a view limiter to prevent you seeing the skybox seam.
Paul Berger Indeed you can. Pretty hilarious when you look at the darn thing poking it's giant 'gun' into the sky. So it can penetrate the sky better :D

JIngles! you made me very happy! Finally some footage of your own again and you know, you commenting your own footage is somehow just better, because you played and knew why you did things like that.
Looking forward to more of this!!
Jingles you are my favorite youtuber! Your the best at WOT youtuber that i have seen!
Sir Jingles, I just wanted to stop and take a second to say Thank you for all that you do! Love your videos and dedication to history. Keep it up.
Last time I came this early I had to pay child support. Great Video btw
Give this man a medal.
AmazingFlyingSquid What's the difference between a black man and a bench? The bench can support a family.

Okay, I'm very sorry Sgt Achilles and The Mighty Jingles
thanks for the tip on this jingles swapped out the 152mm and have loved this tank ever since iv'e also found alot of players just sit there when hit with the 1st shot and are shocked when 6.2 secs later the follow up shot slams them
Any1 else see the phantom tracks from the tiger at the beginning of the match
Yes, that was odd
johnathan larden where?
johnathan larden
i dont even know what you guys are seeing, they look perfectly fine to me
***** He isn't talking about the actual tracks of the tank but about the tracks they left (or rather not left) in the sand.
johnathan larden Yep
Nice to see the WOT passion returning. Looking forward to some great jingles gameplay in the future.
jingels will u revisit warthunder when the britts are coming with ther tanks?
Patrik Nessbo Warthunder is shit please no jingles
Appel taart Well, It's got its problems, but he has to go at least have a gander at the brit tanks :)
***** They did tease some models, so I assume we'll see the first ones in the next major patch. Probably as a buy in, like the 'murican tanks.
Patrik Nessbo Have they fix lowering your game setting to gain an advantage yet? if not then I am not touching WT GF
TrueCanad1an Nope.
And here goes Jingles again. Have you forgotten that E2, T1 Heavy and therefore M6, don't actually have LFP as weakspot? It's actually most armoured part on the front, apart from turret.
Krešimir Turkalj He did say underbelly, and he shot the underbelly not the lfp mate.

Nice video as usual jingles!
Joshua Woessner You couldn't even watch it yet... -.-
+Royal he has now :3 and yeah good video
+Royal Yes I could of... It was uploaded 30 minutes when I posted that, I was one of first few views...
Awesome episode of random acts! I enjoy your WoT videos so much!
if that had been me on mines the enemy would have flanked around and been shooting me in the ass, it's not always "just that simple"
+bleeckertb Yes, it helps when the rest of the team can watch your back
Artillery and everyone in the middle of that map: "Hey, there's Jingles! We should say hello!"
"The M4 Sherman is perhaps the best T5 medium."
Jingles.
Jingles.
The Sherman III has basically the same stats, but more HP, and better gun handling, plus access to the 6pdr.
3:40 Uh, Jingles, the M6's thickest armor is the area around the transmission. Same for the Jumbo actually as well.
4:20 Tracks probably ate that.
Hahaha, I was waiting almost the entire match for jingles saying "Lefefefefe". love your deadpan humour Jingles :-D
Stronk Russian tier VII TD has more DPM than most Tier X Mediums... Working as intended.
Good news Jingles! I hope you will have a great time! Also I can't wait till next The Good, The Bad & The Ugly vid!
You know it's pretty rare (for me at least) to see a stock Tiger 1, but at 2:36 there is a stock Tiger on Jingles' team.
yeeeeees finally. jingles back in the tanks. Becoming mighty once again.
Great video. Very informative advice too . Staying alive is best way to do more damage, help the team and win battles. Wish you played on NA and did streamer platoons like RitaGamer and some others.

gotta love the elc's health pool, i shall forever member the moment on siegfried line where i snap shoted an elc in my T34 and did 399. As me and my mates say 'god wills it'
Actually, I like watching your game play. You're good, you're smart, you're knowledgable.. and I learn so much from your mistakes. ;-)
"Dont Suck !"
quotes The Mighty Jingles !
Glad to see you are having fun again Jingles.
just so you know hahaha, jingles, when you fire at tracks, (that now are accounted for as spaced armor) HE will not penetrate the actual hull of the tank but explode in the tracks and probably just cause spalling damage to it depending on the caliber of the gun.

My break from WoT continues for a second year now.
I uninstalled War Thunder thinking it would fix my lag issue on WoWS...boy was i wrong
Well I figured it might be taking up too much space though you'd think a computer that can run the 8GB+ War Thunder would have no issue with the much smaller World of Warships
thats my exact issue it wont load up in time
or just do it for the free garage slot thats more worth it then the tank itself

Welcome back to WoT Jingles
Jingles didn't say "I will catch you next time"!!! This is a sign, he will hill himself!
those crew skill choices on the m4 made me lol so hard
Jingles, today the towed HMS Edinburgh out for scrap. no idea if you ever served on a type 42. Only 2 left intact now.
As for the pronounciation of the leFH18B2: its a german artillery piece (leFH 18, leichte Feldhaubitze '18, light field howitzer model of 1918) on a french chassis (B2). leFH is short for "leichte Feld Haubitze". i think its "light field artillery" in english.
For me the best tier5 medium Tank is the Panzer IV.
Did anyone else s*** themselves at 4:33? when Jingles said: "You know what? I've now uninstalled it...."
World of tanks makes the underbelly of all tanks impenetrable
Mister jingles, even if you dont want xvm stats, please use the xvm minimap alone at least. its beyond useful!
The start of this video was more akin to Mingles with Jingles rather than Random Acts of Violence.
erm @ 4:05 was that friendly arty trying to kill you? lol that arty shot came from behind

Jingles you need to continue your WoT series like " The good, the bad, and the ugly."
16:12 jingles was that a reference to Allo Allo?
Jingles I have been looking all over and I haven't found many obj. 430 vids. I would love it if you could do a review on it.
"Why isn't this HE working?"
*fires another round of AP*
Flak bus has almost zero gun depression and traverse when it has the top 88mm gun, not sure which gun he had but that might be the reason.
The Mighty Jingles Your mistake I using the 10,5 cm on Tier 6. You unlock it at Tier 4 & Tier 5 for a reason. Use it on the M4 and the British M4 and you will have fun 1 shotting T67's.
Jingles, you know that what you did is to hard for the WoT Tankers.
Jingles remember that tracks act as spaced armor. HE doesn't like tracks.
at 3:30 Wait...you can click on the gunner to heal him?? Cool, but why not quickly press 4 for the medkit and 2 for the gunner. ( i think the 2 is the gunner). It's faster, right?

I see Jingles did pick up some tips from that WoTlabs dude who sent him replay and Jingles made a video from it :D
You hit the lower portion of the frontal armor on the M6 and you probably hit the tracks (spaced armor) on the T29 ;).
I also recommend putting Cola in it, in fact, put Cola in all the Shermans, that's how good the are to me,
Did they remove that OP gun on the SU-152. I know the premium tank still had it
The Last Phoenix Lol it's a bad habit
The Last Phoenix Which one, there are a lot of those dicks lol
Yea! A Jingles video on my birthday.
Jingles, I see you have the isu-122s. Could you do a review on it please?
I got a random question, what perks do I use for my Pz. 4 when I sometimes stay back and snipe and the other times in the front lines
I always found it strange that most american tankers who worked with the Sherman preferred the 75mm over the 76mm. The difference in caliber is only 1mm, and I guess in theory that should be better, right? Was it something to do with ammo availability, or maintenance, or something else?
NJP695 The 75's were smaller, the 76.2mm While being 1.2mm rounder, Is about 2cm longer
The 76mm's had worse HE performance than 75mm's...which is not ideal when facing infantry, and facing Tigers weren't that common.
