In the Bells of St. John prequel, someone pointed a very young Rose and Mickey playing and a young Jackie as well talking to Clara's mum. The Doctor was sad and he was watching a young Rose Tyler playing in the park.
Some people get over loves lost, Some simply move on But is it possible, When forever surrounded by the same memories Oh the one who's gone? Some people take it for granted Some people simply don't care But the Doctor can love And did only once To a Wolf who calmed the Storm
So... which day do you think he would chose? Me, I think New New York perhaps. Or some day they never showed us. Perhaps the cut scene where they're standing under a golden sky and he asks her how long she plans to stay with him and she says, "Forever."
+Fufiy "Ai" I persoanlly think he would choose Rose. River seemed more like a girlfriend, someone who he flirted with and liked, but I never really saw his love for her. Oh, she loved him unconditionally, but I didn't really see that returned. Both him and Rose were perfect together, and laughed and loved eachother dearly. She saved his life, and the universe's, at least once, if not more. I dunno, River never really stood out to me as his wife.
Joy Cooper Let's be real here. We are talking about totally different regenerations. Personally, I know that they are the same person, but I don't think Rose would have been able to handle the 11th doctor. Also, the Doctor and River spent more time off screen together than Rose and the doctor.
Joy Cooper Amen. I don’t know why people think River loved 11. She tried to kill him, TWICE. Rose saved him so many times. She is clearly his soulmate.
@@MollyMcLaughlin D'you think that, maybe, i dunno... Moffat was a bitter hack who just wanted to imprint his own childhood fantasy onto the show, even if it meant crowbarring it in unconvincingly, rather than honouring and respecting the canon?
It was an entirely different parallel universe that's why he couldn't go get her. There are many universes parallel to ours... each choice creates a different universe... this would apply to the Ponds more since literally they could have gone to a different state and the doctor could have picked them up from the 1930-40's. :(
Rose is one of the few companions I can imagine the Doctor becoming domestic for :'( and now he can't.
Even Moffat said once in response to a question about Rose and The Doctor "He is the same man always" I think that speaks volumes right there.

they better bring rose back and her and the doctors have a gay relationship.
Meh, give good ol' Russel T Davies a two parter with Matt Smith and Billie Piper and there is... I'll say a decent chance, you'll change your mind.
