Thanks for explaining there was a dog running through, lol. Hearing that in 7.1 was really interesting.. thought you started getting really, umm.. excited about the stars lolol.
Great result with the Witch Head Nebula. You can see some good detail. That couldn't have been easy for such a faint nebula. A suggestion for a future imaging session - have a go at Barnard's Loop - That would be stunning.
Thank you!!!! Yes it was so hard to process, I have a video on Bernard’s, one with the 50mm lens and the other is an older video titled 8 amazing deep sky objects with the star adventure. Bernard’s loop is such and awesome complex!! All the best and clear skies!!😃
I'm really enjoying your videos. I have a Z61 myself just waiting on the field flattener to get here in a couple days to use it! Keep up the great content!
Thanks man!!! Yeah me too I’ve shot several galaxies over the last few days and haven’t filmed at all😬, thinkin about making some #shorts, I’m currently shooting the whale galaxy as we speak.
No one ever locks their mount down with the Alt/Az and RA locking bolts. This should be the last part of polar alignment. I usually have to get within one and one half arc minutes on Sharpcap and use the locking bolts to finish the polar alignment. That's why people loose alignment when the telescope slews to a new target and astronomers are left scratching their heads. No one seems to talk about this but your go to can loose it's way even with auxiliary coders enabled. I have to because I use a 10" astrograph on an Orion HDX 110 mount. If you don't lock it down it's going to loose polar alignment and you have to start all over.
@@barrera1943 thank you, I’ve thought the same thing, I think I could do better with the processing but I was kind of working against myself, with the stock DSLR with a filter, I sort of over did the protection, as well the target was setting into the light dome. I think I will try re processing it some time, as well as giving it a new try this upcoming winter season. Thanks again and clear skies my friend✌️
Well I have a big change of plans. Since everything from skywatcher is sold out and I need to wait atleast until may I cancelled my orders and ordered the ioptron skyguider pro instead. When I’m getting the money back from my other order I’m ordering this scope!
Awesome!!! You’ll love the scope!, I hate that all the Sky Watcher stuff is sold out, it seems like it been that way for a long time!! Good luck and clear skies!!
If you switch on the tracker when aligning Sirius, it won't keep moving out of field. Lastly, you locked focus - how did you do that on a ZS61 please ?
Lol yeah some times I do that just because the focus mask adds some weight so it’s out of balance, thats why I don’t track, the scope has a focus lock screw right behind the guide scope bar.
@@AstroPilotchannel thank you for replying. I'm struggling with being able to get polar alignment. I get Polaris in the right spot. image for 10 to 20min check the polar scope and polaris is outside of the circle. I'm thinking my bubble level is off because all check to see if polaris is in the middle of the reticle and move up and down and it always veers off slightly.
@@kevinnewell09 hmmm yeah the only thing I could think of would be your tripod isn’t completely level, feel free to ask more questions, thanks and clear skies👍
Good job cowboy, keep up the good work.
YYYYEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH BOOOOOOIIIIIIIII!!,!!!!!!!!!!! Love the intro!
Haha thanks!!!!!!
Nice to watch a channel with a small equipment budget and stock dslr. Hope to see new content with this setup. Congrats.

Great job! Great video. Congratulations.
Thank you!!!
Nice capture Trevor!
Thank you!!
Awesome vid 😀. Great to see your progress!!

Your quality is going up
Talk to me Goose. Lol. Great vid!
Hahahaha, I feel the need, the need for speed, owwww!!!!! Lol! Thanks man!
Nice video Trevor - keep it going.

Thank you so much! I have no doubt you will love it!!!
Top tier video again 👍 I've had a month of clouds 🙄
Thank you!!! Tonight is the last clear one for a while for me, hopefully it’s clear up for you soon!! All the best!
Awesome shot! Sure is a hard one. Great video, I have to start recording more myself! Keep it up!

Great final image. I'm too nervous to try this target as it's so faint.
Thank you!! It was extremely hard, when I started processing I didn’t think I could do it but it turned out ok, clear skies!😁
@@AstroPilotchannel excellent shot! do you think you know how you can improve this image?

Which softwares do u use...also earned a sub
Deep sky stacker and Adobe Photoshop!, thanks!!👍
I could be wrong but for the witch head nebula you do NOT want to use a filter and you're losing data when you use one
Yeah I thought about that when I went to process the data, it was very hard. Thank you! I will remember then next time!
Do you work at NASA? Can't believe the number of dudes doing astro imaging wearing a NASA Tshirt or sweatshirt. Too funny!
Excellent image and great job processing in PS, especially with it being so new to you. What did your exposure time for the images turn out to be?
Thank you!!!! I got 3.5 hours worth using 3 min exposures
@@AstroPilotchannel You just answered my question just as I was about to type it...LOL
What’s that red base on your star tracker?
What is your back-focus on the flattener with the l-extreme. I have same setup with the 2600mc pro but my edges are still way off. Currently at 12.9.
how can I use sharp cap with the star adventure? do I just need a guide scope?
Yes you’ll need a guidescope with a guide cam, but if you use a dedicated astronomy camera you could use that with your main scope, but no DSLR though
