I made this origami tutorial for my niece Gabby. This diy paper game is a great activity to enhance fine motor and socialization skills (Which I apparently lack.Haha!). PLUS....it'll save you a couple of minutes from boredom during lockdown.
To make this fortune teller, you would need the following:
-letter sized paper
-scissors
-pen
-crayons

5/10 this got me fustrated bc i worked very hard repeating everything you did and it did not work at all i can't get it on my hand.
Learning a craft takes practice and attention to detail. Don't be frustrated if the people in the comments session got it in one go. We all learn differently. Check if you really followed EVERYTHING. The paper needed to be a square and folding should be precise. Don't give up because this is just one of the most basic paper folding projects next to making a paper boat. If I gave up early when I started learning origami when I was a kid, I wouldn't be able to enjoy more complex projects. Dare to challenge yourself. More power to you!

Oh. I'm sorry about that. I didn't mean to upset your child. Learning a new craft can be exciting but at the same time, it could also be overwhelming or frustrating. Maybe this is not yet a proper project for your little one's skills set or they just need a little assistance or maybe they'll learn to make this better with another creator. Just keep on encouraging your child to try again when they are ready. If it really isn't working out, you can try another project that would be more enjoyable for your little one. :)
