    I have king size valevag IKEA mattress. The problem with the sprung spring mattress is that when I sleep in the edges, mattress sloping causing me to roll out of the bed. This is really annoying. Sleeping in the center is fine but in the edges is a very problematic.Anyone experienced this issue?

    Forgot the part where it takes a month or two to not stink. 😂 ...Would be awesome if they aired them out and then re-rolled them but I'm sure it would add to the price.

      have you found it to stink in your personal experience? or are you just assuming based on the face that its rolled up in a box? Just wondering if the offgassing is worse with this mattress than others?

    • @busyboxst7

      @@KatieSweeney. it took quite awhile for mine to fully air out. That said, they (some of them) are great mattresses, especially for the money. But definitely go to an IKEA in person and figure out which one you like best because it's not related to price necessarily. I ended up on haugsvar plush, which is not the most expensive and many of the more expensive ones I didn't like as much. Plush because I sleep on my side and need a soft enough mattress for my arm to sink into it some (I'm a skinny guy, most mattresses are difficult to get my spine remotely straight because my shoulders are wider than my hips so I'd be slanted uphill toward my head if I don't sink in some).

    Where is the bit where you have to wait for three days before you can sleep on it? I WANNA SLEEP ON MY BED BUT I HAVE TO WAIT GAAAARRRRRHHHH

      what? WHYYYYY??? to wait for them to decompress? that's silly!!! We got a rolled up mattress from walmart some years ago (other country, we moved so we had to sell all that stuff) but it took 15min to be all ready! 3 days?!

      Nefarious Purple Badger the instructions clearly state that you are to unroll, and can sleep on it same day but it will take 72 hours for it to fully spring back to form.

      Thanks to the commentators:I am awaiting one of these and we were given the 3 day info. I'll go for it, then!

    • @busyboxst7
      @busyboxst7 2 года назад

      The 3 day wait is due to the smell more than anything and it's more like a month or two before it totally dissipates. Great mattress (haugsvar plush at least), just not ready to use for awhile.
