The presenters make the same suggestions for every show: open up the kitchen, put in an RSJ; new windows, new wiring, new plumbing; amalgamate the separate toilet into the bath space. Little imagination shown, with the same comments every time, "wow, oh my goodness" AND the owners always go over budget.
Lol you nailed it! I'm not really sure what their purpose is. I mean it's cool to see renovations, but do the homeowners get $ for being on the show? I've only seen a few of their episodes, but you hit nail on the head... with them providing the most obvious commentary... OK fix walls falling down. Add another bathroom if possible, give curb appeal, make open plan kitchen... remember that if you special order kitchen cabinets, there is a lead time ( duh!) Or buy cabinets in stock. Try to do as much demo yourself for cost savings and any work you are able to, yourselves. Hurry up and get it done and don't go over the budget, which they always do. The house has already been bought... so it's not like they are doing a Property Brother's type of showing them fixers uppers to choose from, then showing possible professional design options and the professional help getting it to that standard... they just show up and say so... you have lots to do... and you're spending too much. They are a nice charismatic pair, but I just don't see what purpose they have in the show other than being hosts... their knowledge doesn't seem to be used in any way that exceeds normal common sense...
Why do you need a breakfastbar. I think they are mostly overrated because if you have little space you eitner sit like chicken next to each others. A table is much more practical. Plus my experience is it will be little used….
Love this series. Just stumbled upon it while watching "Apartment Therapy" so I love watching renovations and the excitement of what a place could be.
Love this series, the hosts are amazing, & the projects just exceed expectations!! Thank you for sharing!!!!
Wonderful curb appeal! The interior is just lovely!
Nice results. In a few years they can tackle back yard. Wish them much happiness.😊😊❤❤

That’s home renovation, innit? :). I think they get some appreciated moral support
Actually, there are episodes where the owners stay well under budget.

I'm still trying to figure out what they really do, though. 2 seconds of lifting objects in the house, for the owners😂
Lovely transformation ❤
I actually love the tube and toilet separate. Who wants to bath while staring at a toilet? LOL!
love the end of the episode! cute siblings
Agree, fun ending 😂😂
I am still not clear who the project managers were. The owners or the hosts?
Also, is it common in the UK calling men as boys?
For me only two things i would change to my taste is wallpaper and a shower instead of the bathtub.
These clients have fewer ideas about design than most other clients in this series, relying more on the presenters
They are young and IT workers.
The front area dosen't lpok finished
fake reactions from the realtors lol wow! like you didn't see it prior to the shoot.
Well, the show has got to flow, you know.
