I have the biggest continuous smile when watching you and James. Big love to you two legends ❤️
Haha i'm so proud of myself ... It only took me like 5 seconds before i realized why you put 9+1 :D
LMAO i just realized it, and this is like the 4th time i watch this series since it came out xD
Always find myself coming back to this series
even on youtube videos you obey the game of life. true determination!
Loving the Bob Marley vibes of this vid. Your music match is excellent. James trying to dive off that freaking swing why did l enjoy that so much? Who knows. Sloths OMG l would go just to see them. Once again another fantastic informative vid. 👍
Haven't even started the video and I'm already cracking up at the title, 9+1 real smooth 😂
That view from the pool in Nicaragua could have been the best I saw on your trip, great penultimate episode 😀👍🏻
Your living my dream! I would love to travel the entire world, great videos.
9+1 :D Really great and inspiring content. Looking forward to do something like that myself
Thanks 😊
@@karlwatsondocs what hostel is that Sunday funday pool day party at
In this time. I really appreciate your works. Thank Karl. It is make me happy ;)
Great to hear 😊
lol when you first got to the river I swear the background music was from Jurassic park 😂🔥🔥
One of my favorite vblogger ! Kudos to you karl 👍🏼 Koi from Dubai
Greetings from Costa Rica great video you just got a new subscriber keep it up :)
Pura vida !
hearing y’all call the lobster shrimp is still funny 😂
So I have watched all of these videos about a hundred times I love them so much, but you guys really missed out on the other awesome things you can do in Nicaragua. I went there for three weeks last summer and it is one of the coolest countries. If you ever get the chance I HIGHLY suggest you go back.
You know the game got out of hand when you also follow the rules when you upload videos^^ hahaha 9+1 XD
Loved watching it. Greetings from Argentina! -Fabiana-
Love all of this. Although, you guys truly are very focused on having alcohol it seems- and that is on camera....so, I wonder how much worse the need for alcohol is off camera! Lol! Great editing and fun content! I bet you all had an absolute blast. How much did the time changes and jet lag affect you all? I agree with others, maybe next time go off the beaten path a little more and dive in to the different cultures you had the pleasure of being in. You guys are a lot of fun to watch :) thanks for the vids!
This is fun and interesting at the same time, love it!
I feel so sorry for the shrimps and starfish and all the other animals you play with like they have no feeling. Got, they must be terrified :/ Other than that, great videos! Thanks a lot for them.
I'm pretty sure they don't have emotional feelings.
Neither have you obviously.
Oh ffs there's always one!
Karl and Jame you guys are so inspiring! I loved watching your videos, you filming was perfect, I was totally intrigued and laughing the whole time. I am from California, USA. My husband and I cant wait to "backpack" through New Zealand, Costa Rica, Africa, Europe, and the bahamas. We are planning our NZ trip now and your video helped us plan some of our stops there. In your opinion are hostels ok for a 27 year-old-pregnant mom with a 2 year old?????
Lol! Wish I could have experience that a few years ago. But its never too late. Thank you for the advice!!
Amazing content!
thanks Karl
This is unreal! i just finished watching all of the episodes and it helped me so much with my gap year next year, so thankyou!
Aww I've watched the whole series of Hk2NY up to the USA leg. Why is the USA video hidden!!! I can't finish your trip now!! Haha
RUclips has only just blocked it, so frustrating, hopefully it’ll get sorted in next couple of weeks
Great videos and with a awesum professional work.. Great work Man... :)
James Christ, he dived for our sins.
Best comment I've seen in a while lol.😂
Awesome videos!!! Im really jealous now 😉 But well done boys!!! Is the rest of the videos not uploaded yet as I can't find them on RUclips?
Cheers! You both did a great job sharing your travel documentaries on my facebook 😊
Love your videos. Inspired me to do a 6 month trip of my own. The last 4 months are Peru, Ecuador, Central America and then Mexico. I'm trying to decide which countries to go to in Central, how easy was it to travel in Panama and Costa Rica? Did you take organised tours or public transport? Also, how much did you spend in the 3 weeks in Central? I'm set on the g adventures Peru trip after watching that video. Thanks!!
what is the name of the hostel you stayed in Panama with the water swing
hey Karl-i just watched all your videos/trips. you're awesome man!!!! you help me plan my next trip to south America-loooking forward to sunday funday in Nicaragua. I'll be there March 2016. Im from Denver Colorado USA-sorry about your USA road trip. backpacking is not a thing over here....hope to cross path sometime : )
+Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries whenever you are in Denver-you have a place to crash and the 1st and last beer is on ME. Although I'm 60% home and 40% living the backpacking lifestyle-travling around the world. PS Mount Everest-thats badass!! i have to put that on my bucket list.
Puerto Viejo is naturally chilled. The weed just makes it better lol
lol Ep 9+ 1
What hostel is the sun day fun day pool day at
fair play to you guys watched a lot of your videos. I'm heading that way working my way up through South America. Just wondering ball park figure how much does it cost to head to these islands? Working out a budget at the minute and would love to head there. Thanks!
Wow. Great video!
Hey Guys, Amazing vids!
Quick question, what time of year were you in Central America? I am planning my trip and was conscious of what the weather would be like.
o god I love this blog it is so awesome
Hey I really appreciate all the work you did for these videos!! I have been looking for places to go and this was a perfect summary of each country :) Thanks!
Lucas D. I honestly don't get why this doesn't have more views with how professional it looks, again, great work!

Hey, awsome video!! Could you tell me which Tour you booked for visiting the san blas islands and where you booked it? Much apreciated! :)
I've been watching a lot of your videos over the last few days, they're so amazing!! it's really inspiring and you get quite a good idea of the places you wanna visit yourself. But what I'm really wondering about is how you manage to travel so often? in your intro you always say you had to quit your jobs, so how can it work that you're traveling for 9 months, returning, and after half a year or so you're traveling again? you also wrote in the comments once that James has been traveling for one year through middle America again, so in case that'd cost around 10000£, considering it's longer that hk2ny but far cheaper cause it's middle America and not industrial countries like NZ, how is it possible for you to have that much money?
+Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries so it means it's mainly about saving your money all the time so your living standards at home are worse but it allows you to travel more often
+Karl Watson: Travel Documentaries for example?😁😁
What travel company did you use in Panama, when you went to the San Blas Islands? Or did you use one? I'm hoping to go there and South America next year!
27:24 he started like it was about to be the hardest shit I ever heard
Karl+James=Laughs!
😊👍
you guys are great
Awesome vid!
Haha confused me for a while, but I got it 9+1
silly question but did you actually take backpacks or luggage for this entire adventure? i would have thought it was large packbacks but at 24:02 it look like james has luggage like suitcases
smart man!
hello guyss!!firstly i want to say that i love your videos, well done!! You are my source of motivation for my next trip. I am planning to go for a few months on my own and i am doubting between southeast asia or southamerica/central america. Which place do you think is best for solo travelling?Any recommendations? Thank you!!
well i am spanish so that should be no problem ;) It is a difficult choice but I will think about it. cheers mate
whats the name of the background music at 6:08? it sounds so epic
Dude i hope you read this comment the reason why Bocas and San Blas was not crowded is because it was rain season and no one goes to the beach when is rain season in Central America the season goes from July to January so good look mate.
Remember the spirit and mother earth guys.
Is the water warm in Panama etc?
What's the name of the hostel in bocas del toro?
hey Karl, what's the name of the place in Nicaragua with the swing?
Haha, I was wondering where part t-e-n was and then I realized
how did you guys skip Mexico!?!?
Karl man. Watched most of your videos and the recent one backpackers of the Caribbean. I'm heading to Costa Rica and Panama myself now but stressing about this proof of onward travel stuff. I'm flying from the uk to San Jose back to the uk from Panama City and doing the whole sixoala bridge crossing like you guys did. I keep reading on lonely planet that Costa Rica immigration require proof on onward travel from Costa Rica itself and the fact I've got a return from Panama would not be sufficient. Obviously you guys crossed overland from Costa Rica into Nicaragua so my question is.....upon arriving in Costa Rica from Panama, did you have to show proof of onward travel? A bus ticket etc
Karl was it Arenal backpackers resort you guys stayed at in la fortuna?
Where was that hostel with the swing?
Bocas del Toro, hostel is called Aqua lounge
@@karlwatsondocs cheers my bro
the san blas islands how did you book that trip?
I can't wait to start my journey
whats the name of the hostel in nicaragua`? awesome videos
Marcel Scholz If you go to Leon, stay at Big Foot (party hostel). And on Ome Tepe (which is amazing btw), I stayed at the landing hotel (hostel). It was $7/night. Not a party hostel but so needed after San Juan del Sur. And the island just has such a relaxing feel anyways that you want a quiet place.

** Lobster mate but im enjoying rewatching all your documentaries
Haha cheers 👍
that fish at 26:00 looks like a puffer fish
Those are Lobsters my friend not shrimp..Rock Lobster or Florida Rock Lobster if your here..I love them more than the clawed type
that was lobster
Fabio Romero Hodgson where were its claws
James ist so lustig!
I so wanna be in that party ♥😁😊 #peace
Karl, why 9+1?
The Game Of Life 😂 You're not allowed to say the number that comes after 9 otherwise you have to do 9 +1 press-ups 😂😂😂
James's obsession with picking up all the wildlife is probably because he has no luck picking up chicks.🤣
I don't think I'd go to Nicaraguan just to hit a big pool hop party day. It's no different than a pub crawl you can do anywhere. I did one in Medellin and have been on others too. Most of the people who went to Nicaragua that like it for the same reasons: cheap and lots of partying. It's low on my list of countries to see.
Just finished my pushups
Nice
Me da risa que lo primero que le escucho decir a Jamie es "más más, uno más por favor" el alcohol tiene poder.
I think only those who watch your video from the beginning will understand why 9+1.
Why you throw a fish around? Respect life.
5:50 - that girl turns fun into not fun
The abuse of a harmless thing is the essence of sin
Hey guys, thanks for the very cool video, we're based here in Managua! Do check out our travel vlog we just launched too. We'll start in Nicaragua, then the Philippines, Latin America and more. Safe travels!
starfish will die until you pick them outside the water.
17:55 O shit waddup
Yo that’s not a shrimp . It’s a fucking lobster . But cool videos very entertaining
Why did james have to kill that fish tho? I don't get what's so funny about it
Nicaragua the best in central america
Me gustan tus videos, checa los míos en mi canal. Abrazos dobles! :)
