And low quality, it's 12 MP camera used to be equivalent to Samsung's 5 MP camera.

If you don't blast ur company, the market will do for you.
Even Sony has horrible customer service.
We have a 62000rs Sony led tv. It's display failed just after warranty.
The service center says it will cost 22000 just for repairs.
MICROMAX chor company. They harrassed customers for after sales services.....took 3 to 6 months....sometimes never even returned the phones to customers...thiefs....acha hua downfall hua
But we should also agree that Micromax has made a comeback like a roaring lion with its IN series which are affordable and provide best features as compared to other phones in the market.

Smartphone ke naam pe deshbhakti bechoge to aisa hi hoga. Smartphone and software itself was very very bad. Why would anyone buy it just because it's indian?

But Micromax k phones ghatiya bhi the aur after sales service bhi nhi thi. Logon ka bharosa jeetne me nakam thi mmx isilye customer base nikal gya. Nokia ki tarah image bnati to survive kr leti.

I purchased micromax canvas Knight 2 in 2016, and till it's working nicely. This is Indian company, cheap in rate,
Reasons behind fall of Micromax
1. No visionary leadership
2. Failure to understand market dynamics
3. No R&D
4. No hardware assembly in India
5. Rebranding Chinese phones.
6. Neither OEM nor ODM
I still remember when I had Micromax A52 which was manufactured by Gionee for Micromax.
We should thanks to Xiaomi and Reliance Jio on their big contribution in Mobile manufacturing and Mobile network sector respectively. Because of Xiaomi we are now using the same phone in 15000 which samsung would have been selling for 40000 if Xiaomi was not there. Same if Jio was not there, almost 90 percent viewer of this video would not have watched this video due to costly internet.

There was once a time when Micromax feature phone were providing such heavy amount of battery buckup although smartphone were capable of upto 10days as per my memory.

Personaly, I had used the Micromax funbook tab️. ❤️It was amazing at that time. But They never followed the trend so they failed.

What i saw in past years, that ppl started getting better quality in low price. I myself was having Micromax and it wasn't a good device. Their Customer service was a bummer. Never got updates. I think oppo and vivo was the main reason of micromax downfall and Mi is main reason of down fall of vivo and oppo
I am a ex employee of micromax, your review is just 25%correct, of course Micromax focus on quantity not quality but before 2012,Micromax always used to focus on quality, but when they hired SHARMA JI as a GM and GAJENDRA as senior manager, they didn't focus on quality, it was the time when MD Rahul sharma was dating Bollywood star ASIN,and he didn't focus on business, it was starting of downfall, later they started to manufacture TABLETS, which is a worst decision,Micromax focus on Bangladesh, Nepal and srilankan customers, they can easily purchase Micromax products due to low price,company tried to recover it and launched cancas series but but it was not sufficient because vivo and MI already had been captured market,and R&D, Micromax invested a lot for Chinese engineers and not recognized Indian talents, I personally said to Gajender, we should focus on after sales service and software, because we were using ice cream sandwich operating systems which Is very old,later we moved on jelly bean,but again ,its very old version, Micromax management didn't take any right decisions, specifically rahul sharma, after marriage with ASIN,he never visited to rudrapur manufacturing units,
Their customer service were very poor that they even didn't return my damaged micromax smartphone.

I'm using Micromax Yureka right now. Since last 5 years
Micromax was excellent, but being working together as service center personal, we never had any proper service support and took almost a month to get spare parts from company.Moreover the service managers and higher officials were humiliating us to cover their faults. Towards the end ,we ourselves were telling our customers not to buy as there were better players in the market giving better service support
I bought my first mobile in Dec 2010. It was Micromax. In its second month, it's charging chip got damaged but I still used it for 2 years using Rs. 50 external charger. I bought my third phone, Micromax Canvas A113 in January 2014 and used till October 2015. That time those phones were very cheap and had almost all the features.
But I agree on 1 point, Micromax's phones were kind of a lottery. It might work for you for many years or it may go down in 1st month and its after-sale service was pathetic.
Now Micromax is come back in market👍

My first Smartphone was Canvas Mega 4G which was really good phone.
But after 2 yrs of usage its battery completely dead,i tried new original battery but it didn't gave me backup more than 1hr
E-commerce killed Micromax. It's simple.
Still R&D Companies give low packages than service companies in india.
Not microsoft,google, nvidia,intel, amd,sony,samsung!
