When sin entered the world it separated man from God, but through Jesus we are reconciled to the Father and God is near us again. His sacrifice is not only for us to be close to Him, but also to have close fellowship with one another. Jesus prayed for all believers, that we would be one as He is one with the Father (John 17v22). Through Him, the people of God can find a unity unlike anywhere else in the world. In this message, Andrew Selley explains what it means to be joined to the body of Christ, as he looks at church membership - what it is and what it is not. He implores us to leave behind the comfort of individualism and our own life plans, and be bound together to His Body, for His purposes. Together we become a place where God lives.
