The most underrated musician in our generation.
They say this about every artist 😂😂😂 Jewel in particular definitely was Not overrated- she was celebrated by millions and won many awards and hit the highest parts of the charts during her time…
Fantastic music. I love Jewel’s passion and also the lead guitarist.
Live, she is a revelation. Studio albums are terrific, but so much natural talent on display here. Besides, she is about the most beautiful woman in rock and roll, maybe Nancy Wilson excepted.
Strong love here ❤

The sun sets across the ocean
I'm a thousand miles from anywhere
A pocketbook and my heart
Both just got stolen
And that sun act like she don't even care
Wind blows cold when you reach the top
It feels like someone's face is stuck to the bottom of my shoe
I got a plastic Jesus and a cordless telephone for every corner of my room
Everybody but you telling me what to do
Well, I've been down so long
Oh, it can't be longer still
And I've been down for so long
That the end must be drawing near
I looked to everybody but me
To answer my prayers
Til I saw an angel in the bathroom
Who said she saw no one worth saving anywhere
And the blind man on the corner said
"It's simple, like flipping a coin
Don't matter what side it lands on
It's someone else's dime"
Well, I've been down so long
Oh, it can't be longer still
And I've been down so long
That the end must be drawing near
I take a trip
I catch a train
I catch a plane
I got a ticket in my hand
And then a fat man takes my money
And like cattle we all stand
We've been down so long
Oh, it can't be longer still
We've been down so long
That the end must be
I know the end must be
Oh, I know the end
Must be drawing near
She is lovely!
Oh man she deserves gramy awards

Hotter than a match head...
I love that she says pocketbook. I thought Long Island ladies were the only ones to use that term.
I’m in SC. We say pocketbook or purse. I say pocketbook.
7/25/1999 Sunday
SEXY!!!
That drummer was a pre Covid innovator with his oversized sneeze guard
The 1999 version of Melanie and Joan Baez, fused into one. Long live Woodstock!
This was 20 years ago!!?? 😱😱😱
I just got a coustion r we happy in this world what you'll think because me. I'm .you'll don't know what happened to as .?????
Why is the drummer behind glass?
I think it's to keep the drums from drowning everything else out.
Harry, so it's to prevent drumsticks from lodging inside Jewel's brain? That's so interesting.....
Joe Maysky because the when the drums are louder than other the instruments so the glass is used to block the noise out a little bit from the drums and also when different drummers play the drums at concert the drums pick up on other mics causing the crowd to hear the drummer louder than the singer.
Keep away from flying toilet paper lololololol
Roadhouse. 🤐
She was the Janis Joplin of woodstock 99
01:07 - 01:10 = look to the toilet paper trajectory kkkkk
Jewel love you guys so much
J
Don't wanna get married with divorce on my mind marry for life
I need to meet your dad I'm old horse breaker trainer my self
Oh right before the freaking lead guitar but she sure sells herself for her benefit
I’m sorry, but Woodstock had no place for her and Alanis Morrisette and Jewel. These thousands and thousands people came for some serious rock.
Dmx was there too
Wrong... Jewel and Alanis definitely had a place.. just like Guster, Glove and special sauce, Rusted Root, etc ..
The main problem was around this time most popular Alternative Rock stations were switching to RapRock. Which was the worst thing they could have ever done since that what killed these stations in the end.
Wow
