I caught enough Legless Lizards in one paddock when I was a teenager to fill all my pockets until I talked to my snake handler mate and told me I had about 30 baby Eastern Brown Snakes in my pockets. Live and learn I suppose 🤨🤣🤞
Hi guys, I stepped on a fully grown legless lizard (barefoot) one night by our shed. Instinctively, jumped backwards with the other foot. As the cognitive function came back, I realised what it actually was and not a snake. After a Pub Crawl with a group of mates in Toowoomba, Queensland (early 1980's) I won the title of "Legless Lizard", being the most inebriated and with a propensity to start crawling.
G'day JK (pom poms) Your right about the lizard, and he was a beautiful one, our fanta never used to have orange on it until they brought out other flavours such as grape and strawberry
Ist. Cant get enough of my arm chair travelling with you and Pico baby, now im disabled on oxygen machine at home. ❤❤❤ Our fanta was just called Fanta. Never seen orange fanta on a can before 😮
Hiya! A "pinny"? lol yes nanny, its' a pinafore. Aussies call 'em an apron. Guys, I do believe you're both getting broader (accent!). I had to translate this one ...
@EatVentureVlog ok cool so Picco is the correct abbreviation 👍🐕 (and as you know we shorten most words and names here so he'll always be Picco in Oz lol, but it's an honorary title, especially now he can swim in our oceans like an Aussie!)
Taipans are no joke, we don't get them around here though. In Blackwater, my mum found one curled up and sleeping in a roll of carpet in the laundry, got it picked up by a snake handler and id as a Coastal Taipan. Then some army guys were doing some exercises near us and a Taipan bit him through his boot and he didn't survive.
That a Burton's legless lizard. Loving the channel guys. Keep up the great work.
@@rylandmahoney1058 thank you! Do you see them often? We hadn’t seen one yet in 6 months 🤩

@@kevo6190 no way! That’s crazy, it’s the first time we’ve seen one in 6 months…
Burtons legless lizard friends, they are Australia wide, but very very shy and not often seen, but the wet season has made them show up more

I just used the Google lens in the search bar just to be sure and yeah it's definitely an eastern brown...nah it's a lizard lol 😋
Yeah it's a legless lizard, he has earholes where snakes do not
Ah that’s pretty cool!
As someone from the southern end of the country, I’ve never heard of a legless lizard! Are you yanking our chains? It definitely is rather beautiful!
I live in Newcastle NSW and often see these brown legless lizards in the garden. They wriggle very fast
They’re pretty cool ain’t they!
I’ve only ever know Fanta as orange, and then they added the other flavours lately.
Me also.
I’m in my 50’s and even as a kid, I’ve always known Fanta to be orange.
it's food colouring in the Australian and American fanta, the European fanta is a lot better
Burton’s legless lizard

I am Australian. I have never seen a legless lizard here BUT I have seen them often in the UK. I think you call them slowworms.

Australia has different Fanta’s there’s Raspberry Fanta & Pineapple & Grapefruit Fanta that’s why it has Orange on it
Ah thank you for letting us know, we haven’t seen the others yet.
Pineapple and Grapefruit Fanta is in the UK, it was rebranded. It used to be called Lilt
Ist. Cant get enough of my arm chair travelling with you and Pico baby, now im disabled on oxygen machine at home. ❤❤❤ Our fanta was just called Fanta. Never seen orange fanta on a can before 😮
I think there might be orange fanta and lemon fanta (hence the entry of “orange”.
@@louise7552 ahh that makes sense, we thought this was your say original Fanta, good to see this is a different option.

Does your UK brink have sugar or fake sugar or both? It had both when I was there, made no sense to me.
I’m sure it has both.
Beautiful lizard.
@@PatriciaMegna gorgeous isn’t it!
Your mouth goes orange with Australian Fanta, something we noticed when we were there.
Ah that’s so weird isn’t it!
Its not a lizard its a blue baron racer snake
I'd pick it up even if it was a snake. 😜
@@Danger_Mouse_00 maybe we need a little more time in Australia first 😅😂
@@EatVentureVlog no just bigger balls. 🤣
Fanta in Australia was originally a lemonade. In the time honoured fashion, additional flavours were produced.
back in 1960 in NSW fants was orange not lemonade
