I have a 1974 350 SLC in Red with a four speed manual transmission! The first time I drove it I was absolutely blown away with the charm. Was imported to New England CT in the 70’s.
@@KyleLiongCars ya I don’t get it! It can sit for two months but w a charged battery it starts right up! As soon as the idle comes down it drives super smooth. Just a lil play in the clutch. Then again it’s a 74
Back in 1971-72 when this was launched, It nearly costs $10,000, while a Jaguar E type Series 3 V12 was around $7500. Quite expensive in its day, now prices are still reasonable, unlike E types which has risen dramatically in value. Also that C107 is pristine ! The interior is stunning, probably one of the best C107s in the PH and they're quite rare here. Would love to see you review a Pagoda or even better a 190SL.
Nice to see that old radio. Becker makes still makes something similar , but it now has a card reader. I guess it's for folks who want to keep their cars period correct while being able to play MP3s.
hi bro… how ru doing lately? hope everything goes well with ya… Just to let u know my parents planned to buy a 300SL gull wing… but its in left hand drive…
Love the Euro bumpers and headlamps (I'm in the U.S. so the SLC's are less attractive looking here). Too bad they are heavy and underpowered. Need to drop a 6.3L in it!
In case the world runs out of fossil fuels, I wish these classics could be turned electric to at least stay alive Also if the ever-evolving road safety standards wouldn't prohibit them from being driven ahaha
This car is for rent

That’s pretty amazing for a car of its age

Great video Kyle. I have a newfound appreciation for the C107 SLC’s. Beautiful car.
Glad you enjoyed
To the point and you appoint sentence structures in a short sweet manner. Nothing fancy and nothing unnecessary… good stuff and thank you
Thanks
I like the sound the doors make on old Mercedes-Benzs🎹🎶
The best next to Volvos
Nice ride. Glad you're able to get classics
I’m pretty lucky to have friends who have them
1972 SL350 had 4,5L V8 engine.Mercedes changed it to SL450 in 1973,that represented displacement of the engine.Not in 1972
Replace the steering shock absorber/damper if it hasn't been done- this is a cheap and easy job and will help tighten up the steering.
This restoration is 100%....👏👏👏👏
Gets even better haha! More stuff was done after this
Finally! And again It was nice meeting you in the Karrera Showroom when you were reviewing this! 😁

Nice mercz. It's sure brought a lot fun during it's time, even until now. German techs at it's best. 🤗🐫🙏

Everything on this car makes since. The wiper pattern is parallel to cover most of the windshield. Duh
