I think they'll probably introduce abilities if we get to that point, because if you can get a Pokemon that is about as strong as Legendaries as early as the first Gym than you can just solo the game with him ( also that's Groudon's and Kyogre's whole shtick ).
Isn’t parasect the only Gen 1 pokemon to get Spore a 100% accurate sleep move? While parasect isn’t great I’d argue it has a niche and is definitely not the worst since Spore is just so good.
One move won't make it an above average Pokemon. Dunsparce gets Earthquake but does that make it worth while using ? If you're getting slaughtered by birds, burned by the flames of hell, even being eaten by fellow bugs, rolled over by rocks which you can OHKO or being massacred by a simple snowball, you probably won't be able to use Spore since you'll probably die in the first turn of trying to use it ( a majority of Trainers in Kanto are Bird Keepers and Bug Catchers respectively ).

ZachyCrappy who tf cares about an earthquake on dunspacre his attacks poopy the point of spore is it is game changing by taking the momentum. Your example with dunscapre was terrible and not relevant lol

I don't think stats can be taken into account due to the new candy system. I adore Venomoth and Starmie.... and they can be quiet frail and mid-tier in their attacking capabilities.... but using candies, I pumped up their Sp.Attack and Defenses and they can slay basically anything. I feel like if you're patient enough to catch combo Geodudes, you can get Beedrill's defenses up to make it perfectly viable. My point is that this new candy shindig really makes things more fun and creative, so I don't particularly agree with the choices in this video.
My Alolan Raticate is gonna eat Sabrina and Agatha for breakfast! Dark Type options are very limited and the other two aren't available until late game!
Don’t want to be rude but with candies this is a pointless list honestly. Anything will do just fine in the game other than maybe Ditto and something obvious like magikarp. Unless you are doing online battles but this isn’t a competitive game so...
This is a terrible list. Butterfree is your EARLIEST POSSIBLE Confusion user. It's stats fall behind eventually, but the early game utility of a fully evolved Pokemon with it's move pool while EVERYTHING is still first stage is all he's meant for. It doesn't mean he isn't worth using, it just means you ditch him by the time your Bulbasaur learns Sleep Powder and your Mew learns Confusion.

Hey eryizo when are you gonna finish ur opinions on every Pokémon series. It was a good idea! Don’t get me wrong I love these videos too I just miss that series
I ran the whole game with beedrill being the main workhorse of the game. He solo'd several gyms. I ran the first 4 gyms with a regular beedrill (GO Buzzbee) then decided to return to viridian forest and spent a few hours shiny hunting and finally found a shiny weedle (GO EmeraldFury) and he did even better now this is probably why he was such a monster not only did the almost 90 weedle combo (I know that after 31 it doesn't change either shiny or high IV chances, but there is one advantage that i found out later) meant that my shiny has 5/6 max IVs (and the last being one tier down from best) but since i continued the catch combo beyond 31 i also racked up more than 80 weedle candies which after being fed to my shiny meant that he has more than double the CP of ANY other pokemon on my team, which made him not only able to hit like a truck but able to tank almost anything, even Super effective moves even being able to take 2 hits from psychic before falling (which meant that even if they did manage to out speed my beedrill (hahaha) most psychic types died to pin missile the next move. Man i love this guy.
yep half way through the game I decided i wanted to swap out my beedrill for a shiny beedrill so i returned to viridian forest and spent a few hour shiny hunting. I continued the combo up to almost 90 (just because i wanted too) and after i finally found a shiny weedle i had over 70 weedle candies which went to my beedrill who turned into a beast able to hit like a truck and can tank just about anything even most super effective moves take 2-3 hits to knock him out. he solo'd several gyms and even a few of the elite 4 all by himself, and that was even before i could megaevolve him.
Mew can learn transform in lv.99 and mew's stats is very good: HP:100 Attack:100 Defense:100 Sp.attack:100 Sp.defense:100 Speed:100 Total:600 so ditto is a very bad pokemon in pokemon let's go pikachu and let's go eevee.
Beedrill with good stats (which isn’t hard if you chain Weedle catches) is a GREAT Pokemon. Mega evolve him and unleash fast and powerful moves like Outrage, X-scissor, U-turn, Drill Run, etc... also works well with Substitute.
I agree with you 100% man . You are good at analyzing bro . Keep this up. For me I hate all the Pokemon you mentioned so I totally agree. Let's go pikachu looks insane but I don't know how to get it so I play Pokemon Fire red instead
The thing about Parasect is, in any other pokémon game he's amazing to have on your team to catch any wild pokémon. Parasect gets both Spore and False Swipe with a decent Attack stat, and that is super useful to have without needing to switch every time. But in Let's Go, you don't need to weaken the pokémons trough battle before catching them. So Parasect never gets his time to shine.
Wait, you said it yourself, Ratticate is good for early game use... meaning it isn't good for the list. And Snorlax is a Pokemon you get later in the game anyways, so you will have to get rid of a Pokemon on your team later... And WHEN you can get a Pokemon should matter...
Though I enjoyed this, I really don't see much point in comparing the Pokemon from this game to other gens (since you don't have access to those gens in this game) and I would have enjoyed it if you had talked a little more about the strategy side of it as well - i.e. why these Pokemon won't serve you well in storyline encounters (gyms, Elite Four etc) in terms of typing and opponnent stats. I think it's a little bit easy to just pick out the Pokemon with bad stats and leave it at that.
As soon as I stepped into Viridian Forest in LGP, I bumped into a Shiny Caterpie an caught it. Having a Butterfree throughout the game is kinda rough later on but I'm enjoying it. Plus it's pretty and one of the only wild shinnies i've encountered. Most of my other ones were from events, WT, or egg grinding.
Butterfree use to be a great catching Pokémon. It was fast being a flyer , had sleep powder and didn’t hit hard. But since you don’t catch Pokémon that way anymore it is useless
Every Pokémon game I’ve played I’ve always had a Pokémon I’ve loved and given the most happiness . My beedrill (named Smokey ) can oneshot or twoshot with his return move.
hey eryizo your awesome but raticate was on my team and I learned that raticate can learn a big variety of moves like thunderbolt, ice beam, and blizzard(but blizzard does not have good accuracy so its you option if you want to count blizzard or not
Spoiler alert for the video, so don't read if you haven't watched it yet, but.. I ended up getting incredibly lucky and finding a shiny Kakuna in Viridian Forest, and for the first few minutes I msg'd all my friends who were playing the game on Discord, going: "I FOUND A SHINY KAHUNA!!"..Kakuna*. Anyways.. as a result, I'm using one on my team! Unfortunately, I went back to Viridian Forest (I just beat Erika for my level reference) to catch a Pikachu to evolve into a Raichu and trade for an Alolan Raichu, however ended up finding a shiny.. So while the rest of my team is around level 40, the Kakuna is level 15 now.. I'm gonna have to work super hard to get it levelled up!
Ironically, the very first shiny I got in this game was a Paras. I was in my first few hours of playing and I wasn't even hunting and it just showed up when I was going though Mt. Moon.
im so sad parasect was always on my team and man his starts so nerfed insane his old stats was 247 attack 219 defense 119 speed 219 special in pokemon stadium he was so much of a tank with ability to seed and mega drain he was a beast
I got my very first shiny ever in Let’s Go and it was a Kakuna. I was trying to get a lot of candy I saw it. Even if Beedrill isn’t great I love having him walk with me.
i ended up beating the elite four and become champ with a ratticate in my team. It was pretty nuts tho. Super fang halfs the enemie's HP and it's great, since it's 100% guaranteed that you're doing enough dmg to half the enemie's HP. I loved my ratticate: it was a shiny one too and it was strong.
Parasect is NOT the worst Pokémon in Let’s Go. It’s actually the best easily available Bug type of all, particularly with its Grass typing. Parasect is amazing against Brock (even though you can’t use it against him without trading), Misty, Surge, Erika, and even Sabrina and Giovanni. Why? It has the powder moves and Growth when you catch it. It gets Leech Life at 23. That and Absorb destroys Misty. From there, it gets Slash and Spore. Defeat Erica for Mega Drain. Brick Break, Dig, and heck, even Sludge Bomb is decent on it. So, you are factually incorrect about Parasect. It’s the BEST Bug-type easily available in Let’s Go!
Maybe in this generation Parasect sucks but I have found value in it being used strictly for catching other Pokemon. In heart gold I taught it false swipe ( leave 1 hp) and stun spore. Then also gave it a smoke ball for a %100 escape from battle. Great for catching Pokemon
Next Pokemon game should have you as a trainer yes trying to get stronger but i think it would be cool if you owned your own gym and got notifications on your Pokédex when people were there to fight them. Maybe it’s just me tho XD
So if you say out of all the pokemon any other bug and grass type pokemon would be better then parasect would that be implying that even its pre evolution paras is better then its evolved form?
@@goGothitaLOL Either you mean Volcarona or Bug/Grass and I knew paras was just as bad I was just putting specific wording into perspective to play a little joke
You didn't mention what if I'm looking for a Dark Type to add to my team when you talked about Raticate, which Dark Type should I add? Don't have access to Grimer cuz I'm playing Eevee, and Persian is hideous...
Late as hell I don't normally pay attention to this kids videos but alolan Raticate does extremely well crunch hyper fang as early as level 26 is extremely op not to take in account use of candies my Raticate at level 31 has over 110 health 115 attack plus over 100 speed and a solid 90 def
Raticate is your early access to dark type moves plus the bug evolutions to bug, great for sabrina. Those three (I'm disincluding parasect) aren't to bad. With candy's Raticate get over 400 spec defense and rattata is an easy catch where as snorlax isn't so much until end game.
i used a Beedrill from the start, first one i shiny hunted from a weedle and has nigh on max IVs apart from HP and with 200 weedle candy used... its a monster, Sabrina did not have a good day...
ok let's be clear, as we have seen time and time again the typing of bug/grass has NEVER worked at all: parasect is terrible, plant cloak wormadam still doesnt make it work and then leavanny also does even succeed in getting it to work
Since I don't do competitive exept sometimes with my brother sometimes I just like to get a crappy pokemon that suck and over leveling them and just chilling out C:
Hey my parasect was awesome it fainted rarely it spored threats and it saved me from though spots and it help me get ready to sweep everyone so a unevolved meltan is more useless then parasect
uhh, parasect actually has spore and leech life in addition to leech seed, which is a nifty movepool. Definitely not close to bottom 5. in normal gameplay you can get him earlier than other good bug and grass types, in competitive weaknesses dont matter as much because of strategy. in a position where you can switch him in, he either forces switches or cripples with spore.
While this is a sound list.....lets Go Pikachu and Eevee is not so sound.......no seriously the games literally all over the place and since the candy system is broken....you can make any pokemon powerful given you feed them enough candies.......tho in truth if you were to feed all 151 pm candies to max stats....or 252 Evs in each stat ...then these pokemon are the lowest of the low lol
parasect lost a lot in these game with the catching overhaul what was once the "mewtwo counter in gen 1" has lost it throne as a great status inflicter for catching to being absolutely useless
Beedrill is a good Pokémon it was my second Pokémon its pre evolution evolved and it was my best Pokémon I left it at the daycare for awhile and it turned out it was a god and later I got the mega Stone for beedrill and it was better than my charizard.

I got my very first shiny ever in Let’s Go and it was a Kakuna. I was trying to get a lot of candy I saw it. Even if Beedrill isn’t great I love having him walk with me.
You could offset Parasect not having a good Physical Grass Move, by getting one that has high Special Attack.
i ended up beating the elite four and become champ with a ratticate in my team.
I love your videos, and I usually always agree with you... but Beedrill is THE MVP
Next Pokemon game should have you as a trainer yes trying to get stronger but i think it would be cool if you owned your own gym and got notifications on your Pokédex when people were there to fight them. Maybe it’s just me tho XD
Parasect has been putting in the work for me I don’t think it’s fair to put it as #1. Otherwise I agree with everything else in the video.
I got an ad about this game from this video. LOL XD 😂
Butterfree's pretty good in the early game.
Agree also I got a shiny butterfree in my first playthrough
Eryzo, do you like new pokemon models (colors mainly)? And shinys?
So if you say out of all the pokemon any other bug and grass type pokemon would be better then parasect would that be implying that even its pre evolution paras is better then its evolved form?
No, only Leavanny is the better Bug/Fire
And even then, their both awful competitive-wise
@@goGothitaLOL Either you mean Volcarona or Bug/Grass and I knew paras was just as bad I was just putting specific wording into perspective to play a little joke
Rip my shiny paras sucks
Interesting list. I always think people should be allowed to use any pokemon they want in a playtrough, but it's okay
Im starting a new pokemon channel how did you get a background like that for luxray
I used to think Farfetch'd evolved into Doduo
You didn't mention what if I'm looking for a Dark Type to add to my team when you talked about Raticate, which Dark Type should I add?
Don't have access to Grimer cuz I'm playing Eevee, and Persian is hideous...
Late as hell I don't normally pay attention to this kids videos but alolan Raticate does extremely well crunch hyper fang as early as level 26 is extremely op not to take in account use of candies my Raticate at level 31 has over 110 health 115 attack plus over 100 speed and a solid 90 def
Tbh I never thought of any of these Pokemon on this list, but I was thinking about using Beedrill but with its low stats, I’m not sure anymore.🤷🏾♀️
My candy addicted shiny butterfree dislikes this video
Raticate is your early access to dark type moves plus the bug evolutions to bug, great for sabrina. Those three (I'm disincluding parasect) aren't to bad. With candy's Raticate get over 400 spec defense and rattata is an easy catch where as snorlax isn't so much until end game.
Speaking of Pokémon Let's Go...Im still lost in Victory Road going to the Indigo Plateau....RIP me...
I got a shiny mega Beedrill after I defeated the elite four.
i used a Beedrill from the start, first one i shiny hunted from a weedle and has nigh on max IVs apart from HP and with 200 weedle candy used... its a monster, Sabrina did not have a good day...
Can you do top 5 tastiest Pokémon
Farfetch # 1. It comes with green onion already.
My top 5
5. Alolan Rattata and Alolan Raticate
4. Farfetch'd
3. Butterfree
2. Ditto
1. Magikarp (Gyarados is god-like)
I don’t feel the same why on beedrill
ok let's be clear, as we have seen time and time again the typing of bug/grass has NEVER worked at all: parasect is terrible, plant cloak wormadam still doesnt make it work and then leavanny also does even succeed in getting it to work
Since I don't do competitive exept sometimes with my brother sometimes I just like to get a crappy pokemon that suck and over leveling them and just chilling out C:
When is best starter (pikachu or eevee)
9:55 and what about paras?
So after i beat the leage im gonna shiny hunt a nidoran live
what if you gave ditto a focus slash?
Hey my parasect was awesome it fainted rarely it spored threats and it saved me from though spots and it help me get ready to sweep everyone so a unevolved meltan is more useless then parasect
I’m gonna use these for a challenge
What about Dodrio?
Is it a good Pokémon?
uhh, parasect actually has spore and leech life in addition to leech seed, which is a nifty movepool. Definitely not close to bottom 5. in normal gameplay you can get him earlier than other good bug and grass types, in competitive weaknesses dont matter as much because of strategy. in a position where you can switch him in, he either forces switches or cripples with spore.
Eryiso please rank the pokemon evil teams and their battle theme please cause I want to know peoples opinions about it
While this is a sound list.....lets Go Pikachu and Eevee is not so sound.......no seriously the games literally all over the place and since the candy system is broken....you can make any pokemon powerful given you feed them enough candies.......tho in truth if you were to feed all 151 pm candies to max stats....or 252 Evs in each stat ...then these pokemon are the lowest of the low lol
Dang... i have a Ditto just to check if they have a OH-KO
3:32 was that a bee pun or just nvm
ive had my raticate since i got it on route 1 and its one of my best pokemon on my team.
parasect lost a lot in these game with the catching overhaul what was once the "mewtwo counter in gen 1" has lost it throne as a great status inflicter for catching to being absolutely useless
My current team has my partner pikachu, dugtrio, dodrio, arcanine, articuno and primape
I use bedrill in my main team and it was very good pokemon it has some useful use
Maybe someday I'll try using that trash team just because I think it would be challenging. But who knows, maybe I'll never try
video starts at 1:42
if you value your time . . . at all
Wow. My first let’s go shiny was a paras. LOL
Beedrill is a good Pokémon it was my second Pokémon its pre evolution evolved and it was my best Pokémon I left it at the daycare for awhile and it turned out it was a god and later I got the mega Stone for beedrill and it was better than my charizard.
