  • Today, I finally regained my energy after recovering from Covid, which kept me down for over a week. To celebrate, I decided to prepare a Korean barbecue dinner and make fresh Napa cabbage kimchi from scratch. Follow along in my video as I guide you through the process. Luckily, a friend was visiting, and she joined me for dinner. She kindly offered to assist by being my hands while I handle the filming. Join us as we demonstrate how to make our homemade Napa cabbage kimchi. I hope you enjoy watching the video! Below is a list of all the ingredients we used, and in the video, I'll detail the quantities needed for this recipe.
    *Homemade Fresh Cabbage Kimchi*
    Ingredients:
    2 large heads of Napa cabbage, cut into 1.5-2 inch pieces
    2 apples, peeled and julienned (1) & cubed to make paste (1)
    2-3 bunches of green onions, cut into 1.5-2 inch pieces
    1 carrot, peeled and julienned
    5 tablespoons of Korean pepper powder
    5 tablespoons fish sauce
    2 tablespoons salted shrimp
    1-2 inch nub of ginger
    1 head of garlic, peeled and minced
    1/2 cup sea salt
