    The advantage in this method is that the second set of bones (with the circle and the targets) doesn't necessarily have to be in the same layer as the first set. So the basic control bones can be in the 'head' bone layer and the second set with the target bones can be in the 'body' layer with the rest of the visible limb bones, which keeps the rig streamlined. You don't have to go into nested layers to move the fine parts of the face.
    If you're on Debut, though, two or three bones with position control is generally the best method.

    hello sir i changed the shape of one layer on animation time line frame 1 but i want the same shape on frame zero as default shape to use it as separate layer is there any solution bcz going back to frame zero and making same shape wasting more time

    If the eyes do not require something more than just a shift along the axes, then it is enough to tie both eyes to one bone and then displace this bone.

    Is there a way of keeping the target Bones from going outside that circle boundary?

      I'm afraid there is no such function. Let's try not to depend on bones, but use our eyes to make sure our character is in a proper state. My approach in this video is a very old one. Now you can see how to make another simple and more effective in the video I posted later.

    I am using ASP11. When I set the bones for the eyes, they want to move the whole controller when I try to turn the bone. how do I prevent that? I've worked around it in the past by connecting to a parent bone but I am sure there is a better solution

    just create three point bones one for each pupil and make them a child for a point bone outside no need for this all time wasting method
