I disagree with Maxine using 'bottom' to imply a feminine role in LGBTQ+ relationships, as it imposes heteronormative labels and hierarchies on a same sex relationship. It is a binary and patriarchal understanding of relationships, which goes against the principles of inclusivity. We go through enough now we still have to decide who the 'male' and who is the 'female' is in a same sex relationship.
