When I was a teenager, I went to England for 2 months, when I came in the back door I’ll never forget how he screamed the biggest meow and ran up to me, when I picked him up he wrapped his paws around me and snuggled his head into my chest, I carried him around like that for some time, I got a photo of it, makes me cry every time I see it
In early 2023 I had an unexpected illness and was admitted to hospital for 8 days. While I was healing my Sister and Brother In Law went to my place to look after my cat Pepper who was otherwise on her own for the duration. She's a small Black short-haired cat who I adopted from a rescue place. She's lived with me for 7 years now and is very close. I work from home and when I am out it is never for more than a few hours. So for me to be gone for 8 days with no preparation would have been a big shock for her. Anyway, when I got out of Hospital and got home she was literally all over me and didn't leave me alone for days. She loves to sleep on my lap when am chilled out in front of the TV and follows me around the flat. She's a lovely cat. Have had cats for most my life and they all have their own personalities and are all a lot of fun to hang out with.
I agree. I like how independent cats are. They don’t require the needs that dogs do. Love dogs ❤️too but after just putting my cocker spaniel to sleep age 16. I dread going thru that loss again.
My cat talks my ears off when I come home from work. He even tries to go into my backpack. I kind of want to find a way to get a special backpack for him. But he fears strangers. I love him so much. I'm omw home now, I can't wait to see him.
My cat isn't the friendliest towards pretty much anyone but me. She was a stray on the brink of starvation and much have had a few harsh encounters before me because she was feisty at first
I used to have a cat that was so clingy to a point where when I had to go away for a few months He ran away and never looked back until one day 6 years later I'm in a completely different side of town kind of far away and I see this cat come running across the street stops in front of me looks at me meows and then we reunited for a little bit and he followed me back home to that exact home he ran away from and he never left again He only became more clingy He would not let me go to any room for any amount of time by myself He was afraid if he looked away I would go away again and he went through so much trouble already to find me
My furry shadow wont leave me alone, she is by my side 24/7, except of course for when ai leave. She’s snuggling me right now. Whenever I come back home, no matter how long I’ve been gone she greets me at the door purring and meowing. She’s the sweetest.
I got admitted to the hospital pretty regularly... every time I go I make sure I can face time my cat to at least say hi and good night (I live with my parents so one of them takes me to the hospital and the other does the FaceTime). And when I get home my cat follows me around meowing at me like where the heck have to been. It's so adorable. I'm so glad I got a cat. The best decision after almost dying I ever made lol.
I did get another cat for my cat. Now, when i have to go out for a doctor’s appt or to “ hunt” for food at the market, my cat doesn’t get lonely. Luckily the 2 cats quickly became best friends. And when i come home, they both come to greet me. I can’t go on a vacation, though. I don’t trust anyone to take care of them like I do.
@@annihilator45I wish I could take my Lucy with me but there’s no way!! I’m going on a vacation with family soon. We never go anywhere coz my bf doesn’t want anyone in the house!!! So he’s staying and I’m going. I just hope she’s going to be ok with that and that my boyfriend can care for her the correct way. She has a certain way she likes things and it needs to be as normal as possible!!!
I tell my cats a few days in advance when I’m leaving and how long I’ll be gone. I started doing this after I left for five days without telling em and they destroyed my couch. I explain it now in, “dark times” and hold up fingers and leave out the appropriate sized luggage. If it’s long enough to warrant a sitter, I have em come over and tell my cats what’ll be happening. No more cold shoulder, no more ruined furniture. They understand more than they let on.
I think all true. Last week, I went away for one day and on return she cried and cried for a straight five minutes. Probably it wasnt crying but confusion and scolding! Even if your cat hates you they still dont want you to go away because the attachment is intense.
When I started to have to stay at the dorm for studying my (family) cat Maja started to rip out her belly fur. Vet said she was completely healthy, it was stress. Forbid my mom to change my bedsheets whenever I wasn't at home, so they'd smell like me, and as long as Maja lives I have to visit my parents every weekend so her belly stays fluffy. We've had her for 11 years now, we know her since she was a week old and she moved in with us at 10 weeks old. I've always been her favorite human, she completely trusts me, though she also loves my parents a lot. But once I'm home she gets rather clingy towards me, she loves sitting on my shoulders. Our other cat Lizzy doesn't show her love as openly, she often growls or hisses when I come home, only to request a cuddle session a few hours later, but she's a rescue and has some trauma as well as what I like to call attitude issues.
Two solutions come to mind. 1) Get an animal companion for your cat. 2) A less practical solution would be...stay home. I did get some xhuckles from this video, because basically that is how cats think.
So, 3 and a half years ago I had to move into a really moldy unsafe place. I'm still there and working on moving, but I had to give my cat I've had for 15 years to my brother to keep her safe. Now she's been with him for so long that it would be a risk on her old health to move her. So she's not really mine anymore, but sometimes when I go to visit my brother. She gives me a look like I abandoned her 😭 I know we both miss each other and she's never going to be mine again. But it's crazy that she's still showing a lot of the signs that she missed me after all these years 😢 I hope I did the right thing
Huh well there is another sign perhaps more likely with an older kitty. My fluff is 19 and we had a roommate of which my fluff had bonded with while I worked at another location off and on. Roommate moved on and I am not traveling anymore, however, my fluff appears to miss the roommate by going to the room the roommate was in and meowing then staring at me as if to say "where?" No issues with litter box use or damage of anything.....just this forlorn look my fluff gets and his meow at the room. Age maybe? I just pick him up, give him lots of love and try to engage him in activity like a ride in the cat stroller or a toy, or sometimes food.
When I left for 18 months, my cat would sit by the door waiting for me when I usually came home. When I called my parents, he would look for me. When I got home, he, at first, was distant but quickly understood that it was me. He was not happy I had left him for that long period but he was happy to see me. My current cat gets clingy when I come home after being gone for a few weeks (I work away from home from time to time).
My cat is a male and he’s super affectionate. I’ve had many cats thru the yrs but this guy is the most loving out of all. He will turn his back on me for instance when he wants a kitty treat and I ignore his usual sitting on the mat where I’d give him a few.. Also pretends like he can’t hear me. He behaves that way when I notice he’s gaining weight and I think he needs to lay off the treats. Grr Wish I had never started giving him the darn treats. That’s the only time he acts snotty. 😊. I got him from the humane society when he was 5. He’s 6 now. Funny isn’t it how human being like some cats can be? I love cats too.❤
My 9 year old boys have always had the same cat sitter. They still show signs of missing me. Asher will not show him any affection to cat sitter until day 12 of when I once went away for 15 days ❤
1:20 I once packed a box of items (books etc.) because I was going away to another city to study and mine and my parents' cat just climbed into the box and looked straight at me as if to say: "Don't you dare!"
Cats and rabbits definitely miss their owners when they are well bonded. My bro moved home after his first marriage broke up, and he had this cat. He had to go away for a few days to work out of town, and when he returned the cat was definitely excited. She meowed like she was trying to exclaim something.
So true about rabbits, we've had a house rabbit of some kind for almost 19 years now. We currently have a rabbit, a one-eared dog and a one-eyed cat. Rabbit and cat are rescues, we're the retirement home for a dog who was a working sheep dog her entire first 13 years, the herder likes finding them homes.
I had to take care of my sister-in-law's cat for 2 months, and while doing that I ended up pulling a Sign 12. She always fed him in the evening between 6 and 8pm. Well, I had to drive my housemate to work and would just feed the cat when I got home. He started to think that meant I was going to feed him anytime I came in through the front door!
I'm a student who dorms on campus and constantly worries about the well beings of my cats bc my mom isn't great mentally- so she has a friend who comes to the house and helps.- i'm gone for two to three months at a time and don't have a car to drive home and see them. when I pack or if I leave my suitcase open and they like to lay down on the stuff that I have. I also hear that my cat loves sleeping on my bed when i'm away
My first Siamese and i were deeply bonded. The first time i packed a suitcase he got in it and each time i put a few items in he pawed them out. Then he lay down in it so i couldnt add anything. The secont time i had open knee surgery and was gone for abwhile. A friend he knew well cared for him..I had put up a tree for Christmas before surgery which was not planned. After about a week or so he began breaking the ornaments and eating the glass. I was staying with another friend because i could not go up the stairs at my house. Permission was gotten and my friend caring for him brought him to bisit. We snuggled and when he was taken back home he was fine with no more disruptive behavious. He also hated this one postal delivery man and attached himself to the screen door yowling and spitting each time a package was brought. The second time the man yelled "youre the lady with the cat", ddropped the package and ran off. Mao was a love and one of a kind.😊
For my two cats #1 there's a second person in the apartment...my sister. #2 I know my cats have marked me as there territory, I see it every morning when I come home from work or wake up early evening since I work nights lol. And also I leave them my used bath towel and they're all over it as soon as I place it down. They know my schedule and am told as soon as they here my vehicle, they run too the door and wait for me lol. I love my girls and they love me.
I tend to think my cats are unhappy because I've been gone and won't come to greet me. My two youngest do always come to greet me. They are all used to me being with them and catering to them all day. They basically are my sweetest friends. >^-^
Money doesn’t react when I go on my food runs. But her brother Manny2 does. He follows me into the kitchen to unpack, he follows me around and nips my leg. I pet him and talk to him and then he settles down. My girl knows I’m coming back. Right now I’m clipping my front bushes and have the front door open and Manny stands in front of the glass screen door and watches me. My girl just watched me once out the window. manny never used to care. But he’s right at that front door watching me. Then he goes off by himself. I come in after my clipping and he’s following me all over. More than usual. Then my girl joins in. Manny2 always follows me into the bathroom. I always thought Money was more dependent as she loved my lap but her brother is showing it. Then he pretends he couldn’t care less.
There’s a cat that keeps coming at my house(not my cat) so i don’t feed him and let the owner do. But whenever i come close to where he stays, he always runs to me while meowing, and it sometimes sounds funny, like a « meowawawaow » noise
My cat went to the cattery because we were going on a cruise with my family then she was really scared so she held in her pee and then it got infected but luckily there was a vet there and when we got there we were really really scared so then we just kept cuddling her and her sleep in our bed and on the couch and everywhere to make it up and gave our pillow
They also protect their companions. Saw a video of a dog who drags toddler who was riding his tricycle and the cat companion came to his rescue and fought the dog
We take a yearly vacation.when we return my cat named MOO,he's a black n white cat.hes always by me wherever in outside house even sleeps with me.but when I return he ignores me like doesn't know I guess he's an a**hole to me.lol.in time he warms up to n back to normal until my next vacation.
I've just come back from a holiday and my cat is presenting with most of these, along with laryngitis due to not talking for two weeks. He has also groomed so much he has no fur on his belly and the back of his legs. The cat sitter didn't tell me because she didn't want to worry me. This has never happened before and the vet said separation anxiety and stress can worsen with age. He's 11 in August and I don't know if I can ever go away again. I feel like a terrible cat mamma 😢
You’re not! Just showing your concern shows that you’re not. I have that anxiety myself. Feeling guilty just coz I haven’t been anywhere but work and that seems bad enough. I’m leaving for a few days in a couple of months and I’m so afraid of how it’s going to affect her. So I understand. But don’t feel guilty. We know we love our babies and we can’t let that stop us from living life!
ellie (my cat) does do alot of scratching and rubbing her hand on my hands arms and legs, she does cry for me when i;m downstairs on my computer, i do groom her and brush and she does groom me so she definitly does love me, i adopted her from a women who had a bunch of cats, one thing i don't understand about her is that she doesn't like to be held for very long and she seems to like her ears touched and petted, like when i ask if i can pet her ears she seems to lash out at me this is a behavior of her that i do not understand as well
When I go away for a few days. I am told by my pet sitter that my cat comes running out of hiding thinking it is me. She shows signs that she is disappointed that it isn't
My cat missed us here's the story We were going on holiday my 18 year old brother looked after her while we were away but he went on Holliday for 4 nights with my Grandma and grandad so she was alone for 3 nights while we were away when we got back she was following my mum round all morning and when we got home she was sat on the breakfast bar staring into the dark waiting for someone Bty someone came over to feed her
Whenever I go somewhere & know I'll be gone for few days or just overnight, I'll put some of my dirty clothes out or on my bed so that my baby has something she can sleep with & find comfort in something I left my "scent" on. That way's my way of letting her know that I'll miss her as well & that she can find comfort in til I return home.
If I don’t give Manny2 his night cuddles before I go in my room for bed, or they’re not enough, he’ll rattle my bedroom door. I can hear my girl paw at my bedroom door. Manny2 rattles it. So I go into the hall for extra night cuddles. Then Manny2 will stalk away.

I had to leave my two cats at our dachs for the vacation time with my relatives, came to visit them a month later and one I raised since he was a small baby just ignored me most of the time, didn't come to greet me and started yelling when I picked him up, additionally he scratched me when I wanted to pet him. Those are really heartbreaking signs that a cat doesn't give a single f about you 😢
He is upset and needs the space. They will forgive you after rubbing all their scent again. Cats sometimes don’t even remember their own siblings if they smell more like vet office instead of how they were before leaving the house.
Some people will believe anything that suits their perverted sense of reality. Like these sick things about cats. Cats are among the angels of this Earth.
Hi, fellow feline lovers. If we look at this under a brain chemistry scope we will see that our feline friends have many of the same neurotransmitters, chemicals and hormones as we do. When we enjoy a person's company or have fun when playing sports or games, our brains produce large amounts of dopamine and serotonin, known as the happy chemicals that the brain produces during these periods of fun and happiness. That said, our felines produce these exact same chemicals when they are attached to their pets. Dopamine is strongly linked to addiction, everything that makes our brains produce massive doses of this chemical, makes us want to do it more. Like $€X or drugs, for example. To out it simply, our felines become addicted to our presence and our playfulness.
Yes I know our cats, dogs and other pets DO miss us. Why wouldn't people understand that? Just bcuz they can't speak English doesn't mean they aren't speaking to us in their language Must be very frustrating for them to try to tell us things..like aliens trying to talk to us and vice versa We have to tap into feelings and body language . We can do it y'a!l! What if animals were the caretakers of humanity a.nd they didn't understand us, it would be scaryl
@@mph1ish So you really think you own your cat, do you? Sure it's not the cat who owns you? Your cat is a living being. Not a machine, or part of the furniture. Other than that, I don't give a crap what other people think.

They are
all used to me being with them and catering to them all day. They basically are my sweetest friends. >^-^
Cat hair on your clothes is a heck of a lot better than Cat piss on your clothes
No outfit is complete without cat fur.
I love cats they are so cute
We know we love our babies and we can’t let that stop us from living life!
ellie (my cat) does do alot of scratching and rubbing her hand on my hands arms and legs, she does cry for me when i;m downstairs on my computer, i do groom her and brush and she does groom me so she definitly does love me, i adopted her from a women who had a bunch of cats, one thing i don't understand about her is that she doesn't like to be held for very long and she seems to like her ears touched and petted, like when i ask if i can pet her ears she seems to lash out at me this is a behavior of her that i do not understand as well
My cat wakes me up all the time
When I go away for a few days. I am told by my pet sitter that my cat comes running out of hiding thinking it is me. She shows signs that she is disappointed that it isn't
My cat missed us here's the story
We were going on holiday my 18 year old brother looked after her while we were away but he went on Holliday for 4 nights with my Grandma and grandad so she was alone for 3 nights while we were away when we got back she was following my mum round all morning and when we got home she was sat on the breakfast bar staring into the dark waiting for someone
Bty someone came over to feed her
Whenever I go somewhere & know I'll be gone for few days or just overnight, I'll put some of my dirty clothes out or on my bed so that my baby has something she can sleep with & find comfort in something I left my "scent" on. That way's my way of letting her know that I'll miss her as well & that she can find comfort in til I return home.
Kitties are the best
If I don’t give Manny2 his night cuddles before I go in my room for bed, or they’re not enough, he’ll rattle my bedroom door. I can hear my girl paw at my bedroom door. Manny2 rattles it. So I go into the hall for extra night cuddles. Then Manny2 will stalk away.
my cat gives me the cold treatment when i bring her home from the vets
Kitties are the best Pets!
Dogs Have their place, and I like the bigger ones!
I have 19 cats, and each one of them is different with their own personality and voice.
Oh I would never do medications!
Our girlie rest in peace , would pick up her toy mousy and take it in her mouth and meow 😸looking for us 😮😢😅
Sometimes I may think that maybe one of my cats got taken by a larger predator but that's just me having one of my mental illness episodes
I Have 3 Indoor Kitties Myself 😻😻😻‼️ And Their Name's Are Blizzard Rosie And Coco Kitty! All Three Of My Kitties Are Very Playful And Affectionate With Me! I Love My Precious Little Kitties To Bit's BIG-TIME! Shalom And Amen!✝️✝️🛐🛐😇🌟🤗🙏🙏🙏🇨🇦🇮🇱♾️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🗽🦅❤❤❤‼️
Cats are very emotional.
Some people will believe anything that suits their perverted sense of reality. Like these sick things about cats. Cats are among the angels of this Earth.
I have a problem, it even happens at the vets office. That is fur, hide, and claws, not skin, hair, and nails!
😭😭 im having to board my babies while im finding housing that will allow them. I feel so bad leaving them 😭😭
i miss my cat
My cat looks for me all the time he he not seen me he miaouws continuously
I was in hot for four days he wouldn’t leave the window so he could look out for me returning

How was the background music synchronized with the video scenes?
i know a cat that i lost and she loved me
I'm so sorry for your loss 😢. Sending you lots of love and comfort during this tough time. 💔🐾
Also they can sleep on you’re clothes because you’re sent is on the clothes 🐱
Yes I know our cats, dogs and other pets DO miss us. Why wouldn't people understand that? Just bcuz they can't speak English doesn't mean they aren't speaking to us in their language
Must be very frustrating for them to try to tell us things..like aliens trying to talk to us and vice versa
We
have to tap into feelings and body language . We can do it y'a!l! What if animals were the caretakers of humanity a.nd they didn't understand us, it would be scaryl
We give my cat two bowls of food, one bowl of water and that’s it
Poor cat.
I raised my cat as soon as she was born and my dad throws it...
Dear strangers, please pray for my health and well-being. Your positive energy means a lot to me.
I'm so pleased you are using words like "cat parents" instead of "owners".
I don't own my kittie.
My Maia is family.
She is my fur baby. My first one.
I'm the opposite- only parent I am is to my children, and I own my cat. It doesn't mean I love her any less!
@@mph1ish So you really think you own your cat, do you?
Sure it's not the cat who owns you?
Your cat is a living being. Not a machine, or part of the furniture.
Other than that, I don't give a crap what other people think.
❤😢😅
