Your channels rock! All of the original 45’s as we heard them on the radio 😎
Glad you're enjoying them, Chad!
I loved this song .. and the show Where the Action Is when I was a kid. We used to sing this around the house 🎶"It's so neat to meet your baby where the action is!!"🎶
What a bunch of nuts we were!! haha fun times
Perfect beach tune grab your surfboard and away you go
This is the first song that was played in a Radio Station called "La Femenina" in El Salvador Central America when it was born on February 2nd,1966.
57 years later, it is still on the air, uninterrupted. Long life to "The voice of the new generation"
He was one of my idols.

Freddy still had the "Woo" going on in 1965.
“Where The Action Is.” another of the many music oriented TV shows, frequently with Paul Revere and the Raiders.
You forgot BOBBY SHERMAN and LINDA SCOTT!
Great slice of Americana. All American song. Woo!
Izzy loves cool rock music 🎸 🎶 💘 Enjoy 1965.
Really Awesome
Where The Action Is was a Dick Clark show that was on in the early 60's. This song was the theme song .

Geez Freddy that's enough of the "Whooo!" hahahaha
They didn't call him "Boom Boom" for nothing. He really could rock and did many times.
Some of the episodes of "Where The Action" Is do survive.
Don't remember ever hearing piano intro...hmmm...
Owes something to I LIKE IT LIKE THAT.
He wasn’t called “BOOM BOOM” for nothing!!!
Why was he called boom, boom?
Some people say 1965 was the year pop-rock music changed forever.

Definitely one of my favorite years! I have hundreds of 45s from '63.
They used this during KRTH 101’s 25th Anniversary in 1997!
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
And the flipside is "Beachwood City". I have the 45.
Was this ever used to advertise Action Park, a water park (like Raging Waters/Hurricane Harbor) in Vernon, NJ?
yes, why do I think I remember Cousin Brucie on WABC radio playing this novelty?
@@oldbeatpete and I think that might have been 1975 or 1976 because then I remember it too and it’s extremely vague!! Almost Pandora’s Box coming out of the woodwork. So since I listened to WABC-AM with my mom, I may have heard the advert too.
The Ric Flair of pop music lol
Love your comment
Will you compile the the 1930s' and 1940s' music playlists?
