  • Abraham stands out as a model of faith throughout the entire Bible. There are 66 books in the Bible. Abraham is mentioned in 26 of them outside of Genesis roughly 180 times. This is the powerful story of his greatest test, God calls him to sacrifice his son Isaac. We’ve seen several stories so far in Genesis that point forward to the Messiah, Jesus. None more so than this one.
A study of Genesis 22 1-14 based on "Explore the Bible: Spring 2023-24" from Lifeway. This is the 13th lesson from Genesis prepared by Gary Stieber for Houston's First Baptist Church.

I had a thought and wanted someone to see if I'm crazy. I told my husband before coming here. Okay, it's about the seven churches that the Lord speaks to. Three are past and four are on the current playing board (so to speak). I could be wrong about that too. I'm trying to study. My husband is much further than me. He will tell me when I'm wrong but doesn't smack me with the truth. 😂 I need that because I don't want to bounce around.
If three churches are in the past and four are current. One church, the Lord has nothing against, but three he does. We have four main beliefs on the world. What if Judaism, Muslim, Catholic are the three separate signs/churches. I'm trying to say those three beliefs could cause Satan's three signs to come to pass. One connected to each religion or main nation they belong to.
Okay, I'm thinking I'm wrong. Some of those churches have people of the Lord in it. I don't want to discourage anyone with my crazy thoughts. I'm a good example of the reason God gave us two ears and one mouth. 😂 Only difference is that I'm typing. I'm sorry for the terrible grammar.
I'm almost positive that Judaism is connected to a sign from Satan. They deny Jesus Christ. He is the only way we can make it. In the state of Israel, they have extremist. They claim to be the only 'adam' and gentiles are soul less. They call gentiles beasts. They say a wise beast/gentile should be killed because we're equal to serpents. ,😐😭 They need a come to Jesus moment. I have a bunch of their beliefs saved on my phone. I knew people wouldn't believe me. I'm not saying this to go against them or hate them. I want them to brother's and sister's in Christ. How much more would the Lord want them to come? He loves us all but you get the point. We have fellow neighbors that are Jewish, Muslim, and Catholic. I would lay down my life to save any of them. Let's just hope it doesn't come to that. 😂😂❤❤ Not all Jewish people believe that. They seem to be divided. A lot of them believe the world will come to the true God in time. Some were and are against them creating a state. Jewish people have lived forever. They never needed a state.
