Was in motherlode mine yesterday and there was 4 lvl57 accounts grouped together all with identical stats named with random letters all Botting away. Why can't jagex fix the boy problem. Hopeless
Sapling event sucks. Roots are alright. Overal terrible update. WC was already chill afk, but now for best rates you need 9 other people + forestry meta is actually to hop around and spam scout worlds with events to eachother. Insanely shitty gameplay loop that is soo much better than just afking if your goal is forestry rewards. It should have been a minigame like gotr and temporos, imagine they did this to bloody fishing and mining too.. God no.
Great insight., For me personally I thought it had improved afking as the type of afking I want is consistent so I know how long I have to do other things. However, as an update I can see all of your points and thats a great shame. I thought the distractions were entertaining but i only did it for an hour with friends. I can see how the loop gets boring / annoying.
@@ovrreaction if they just made trees last longer that itself wouldve made it more social and fun. Now its a hop fest and you need entity hider. Literally the opposite effect. Also if we want longer afk and ur not hopping you also are kinda punished by afking and missing the event. So yea kinda messed up in a few ways but no beta so this happens if you overhaul the gameplay loop we had for 20 years :(
@@manusiaorang2842 It was changed/hotfixed today. So you are right that it doesn't work like that, but it DID work like that yesterday:) glad it was changed.
How come? Very chill skill and think of all the benefits it gives .... oh wait. Yeah you have a point. I would have loved to have seen some more relevant content with this update to make woodcutting either make money or have a wider use. But there is phase 2 to come.

I think theres a few reasons but a big one is $$$ the other is the cost of resources for the company so basically $$$ again.
