출석 및 암송완료! 하루를 보낼 때 틈만나면 요한복음을 암송하고 있습니다. 식구들이 있어서 크게는 못하고 중얼중얼 하다보니 옆에서 가족들이 주문외우는 것 같다고 놀립니다^^ 그렇게 암송을 하던 중 문득 깨닫게 된 말씀이 있었습니다. 오병이어의 기적 후 예수님은 사람들이 자신을 왕으로 세우려는 것을 아시고는 산으로 피하셨다는 6장의 말씀과 7장에서 예수님의 형제들이 예수님에게 세상에 자신을 드러내라고 하는 말씀이 연결되면서 하나님이 받으셔야 할 영광을 가로채는 것이 얼마나 큰 죄인지를 예수님은 아시고 끝까지 겸손함을 유지하셨다는 것을 깨닫게 되었습니다. 우리는 어떻게든지 내가 한 일을 생색내고 사람들이 알아주었으면 하는 마음이 있는데, 그것이 얼마나 큰 죄인지 예수님을 통해 새롭게 깨달으면서 회개하는 기도를 하였습니다. 요한복음을 영어로 암송하면서 또한번 새로운 깨달음을 주신 하나님께 감사의 영광을 돌리면서 이를 위해 수고하시는 정철선생님과 젭스관계자 모든분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다

예수님께서 비밀스럽게(not pubicly, but in secret) 초막절에 예루살렘으로 올라 가셨는데, 여론이 좋은 분(he is a good man.)으로 보는 사람들과 나쁜사람 심지어 속여서 사기꾼으로 여기는 사람들(he deceives the people)이 있었다. 이에 이어서

배운 적 없이(가르침을 받은적 없이, 당시 풍습으로 자기를 가르친 랍비들의 계보들을 언급하는데도 불구하고, 이런 랍비의 계보도 없이 막힘없이 술술 가르치시는 놀라움(such learning)에서 나온 표현)
7) [도치 : 중요한 부사구를 강조하려고 문장 앞으로 될 때, 동사가 따라 나가는 경우가 있다.]
원래의 문장인

부사구인 (not until halfway through the festival.)을 강조하기 위해 문장앞으로 도치하여 보내고 당초의 Jesus went up의 과거 시제를 과거 조동사+주어+동사(did Jesus go up) 순서로 바꾸어 배치하면
