Plant Teak trees and Earn in Lakhs for sure

Manoharan, a coconut farmer from Kallampatti in Pattukottai, says his 30-acre coconut grove has 300 teak trees aged 40 years.
Of these, he sold only eight trees to timber vendors and earned Rs 12.5 lakh. One teak tree has fetched him an approximate price of Rs. 1.5 lakh. He also sold 15 trees to meet the needs of the local people and earned Rs. 10 lakhs.
Coconut trees that grow along with teak trees bear good fruit. Manoharan, who earned an income from the teak trees planted by his father, has now planted many more timber trees for his grandchildren. He shares his experience in this video.
