Sir, I paid my income tax and filed return for about 35 yrs. After retirement I shifted from DG Khan to Islamabad. My income tax return could not be filed inspite of hectic efforts. FBR officials are verbally advising me to proceed to Multan tax office. I am choronic cardiac patient having less than half blood cells count in my body. My phone cell has been blocked and I cannot even contact my doctor. What a tyrannic reward to senior citizen/tax payer?

AA. Please make a video on whether Pakistan should declare default in light of the following arguments:
1) Our interest payments on debt this year will be 9000 Billion Rs and are thus more than 50 percent of our federal budget. This is unsustainable because we don't have enough left for other segments. For comparison, this amount is almost double the entire provinicial budget of Punjab and around 4 times our defence budget.
2) In order to pay this massive debt interest, the masses are being forced to pay colossal taxes which is making the lives of everyone miserable
We would also like to know what the actual impact of default will be. Will our debts be written off? Will we be able to import necessities like petrol, medicines etc? What other consequences will there be for the country?

It is sad but very true analysis. Unfortunately, there is no quick solution. I believe the sincerity of Pakistani leaders to improve the situation is genuine , but they seem to be helpless against the stakeholders who control the various aspects of Pakistan economy. .
