Stayed the night once in that cabin it's known as the Balled Britton camp and was built for one of the supervisors for Lee Tidewater Cypress back in the day
I grew up going to this cabin... its obviously been remodeled quite a bit.... We used to canoe that pond! With the alligators. And yes 100's of alligators not an exaggeration. Last time I was there must have been in 1993 or 1994...that dock going out to the pond was so decrepit at the time, we thought it would collapse. We had to he careful what board we walked on. With much love to the Ballard family who built this National Treasure! If you walk a little farther up the tram from the cabin you will find the most epic grapefruit tree which was most likely seeded by the the original workers who built the logging tram that the cabin is on.
