I remember seeing this movie in Topiwalla theatre, Goregaon. I was not a great fan of Raj Kapoor, but this movie was beautifully conceived by Kapoor. As usual Indian audience were not ready (that's the case even today) for unusual story concepts and so the movie perhaps was not a hit. This song is a rare gem of Indian film music. This boy, as ever, has brought the right expression and emotion in his singing.
After 3 days back i again heard this song from this sweet boy. I wonder why this boy made me cry & make my heart burst into tears. I dont know why. ..In my childhood When I heard from this original singer I did not cry. But this... I failed to get an answer. Is this a gods wonder.
