This game is a tribute to a classic (Sensible Soccer). And i think it does well on some aspects. Though animations look kinda clunky. And i believe it would be better to play it with top-down camera.
Personally don't mind the graphics and the camera angles are appropriate, but the shallow-as gameplay kills it dead for me. Played for 2hrs in total and will never touch it again
Still server based on the switch, nah get ta f**k means you have to be online constantly same as on steam, the devs are setting up for failure considering the all time online is 4 players currently 😂😂😂
sucks that it's yet another one of those "build your team with cards" games. knowing Sensi, i was expecting it to be the old-school formula of taking control of the teams as they are, playing friendlies, tournaments and all that.
A few examples of its rubbishness to justify why I'm giving this game a battering in the comments: * never need to press slide tackle. Just run at dribbler and ball is yours. * tap the chip button when through in 1-on-1. Keepers can't save them. Near 100% conversion rate. * there are no headers or wing play. Play through the middle to avoid ball going out. * bend every shot - even bad ones to middle of goal go in with high frequency * the game is generally fast so why the massive wait to setup for a throw in? * has real players but the perceived diff between them in skill and appearance is undetectable * every game feels the same. After about 10 goals you have no reason replay goals ever again. * seeing players do cartwheels after scoring wasnt even cool the 1st time * one of the ref is called something like Blind Bill and has the tagline "Blind as a bat". That's so uncreative it hurts 😂 * there have been thousands of football video games. This one doesn't borrow the best bits from any of them! Way to not learn from success. Unless you want to say "but it's fast like Sensi" and to that I say fine but it has none of its other strengths!!!
@@sp8884 totally agree. Can win without ever doing a slide tackle. Goals aren't fun to score. Dribbling is pathetic. Luring people in with the SWOS reference is misleading. I bought it and gave up after 2 hrs. Why is it getting decent review scores? Something fishy here
That's the 2nd best thing you can do after just not buying it - unlike me who downloaded it you'll have something you can sell when you realise it's pants!
Looks good & maybe only decent Football game on Switch along with the Football Manager series. As a Football fan I am definitely getting this game on sale.
Will you be checking out Sociable Soccer 24? Let me know in the comments. And thanks a lot to the publisher for sending us a review copy of the game!
Tak

there is an option for a vertical top-down camera
Top down sensi style defo be better or just remake swos for me

Is it 60 fps ?
No, more like 30 fps.
@@HandheldPlayers thanks
Cool, i didn't know they're still doing games for 3DO.
This looks nothing like anything on 3DO, but nice trolling try kid lol
Reminds me of Onside soccer around 1996. That game was a bit crap but offered a better challenge than this underbaked lump of dough
Just please release PES 2006 again

Can’t wait for this I loved sensible soccer back in the day this be better than the slow paced shit of fifa or fc24
Same here but sadly it doesn't hold a candle gameplay wise
Guys it's pants. If you enjoyed Sensi it's imperative you believe me when I say this game has nothing in common with that absolute gem

es una version del sensible soccer pero en 2024 verdad chicos?
me encanta
Si, es del creador del Sensible Soccer.
Gameplay too basic

Just got this game for Switch and there seems to be no PVP online play at all which seems to be false / misleading advertising.
I have to buy this game so we can play together
Looks solid. I'm waiting to import the physical version.

He estado leyendo que el juego requiere conexión permanente a internet ¿es eso cierto?
Si, necesitas conexión al internet para jugarlo.
