A posting pause on AnotherProf

- We are taking a “spring break” from new postings both here and on The45Prof channel. This is partly because I can use some time away in order to address other (unrelated) matters, and partly because both channels are currently under a temporary cloud due to recent unexpected ‘legal take-downs’ on videos (as opposed to the normal non-punitive ‘removal request’). Assuming no additional such occurrences, the resultant copyright strikes will expire in a few weeks, and we’ll get back to business.
In the meantime, I continue to monitor your comments and questions here; and everything remains normal on 'The78Prof’ channel.

Take as much time as you need sir. Your channels have been very influential for me the past near decade. Always helping me to expand my pallette across the musical decades, and introducing me to modest pieces that are found nowhere else. I'm very grateful for the work you've put in.

This is why we heard you took a time out, and we heard the title tune from "Morning Dance" by Spyro Gyra heard here in this RUclips posting, and was also used as the tune heard for the ABC Little Rock-Pine Bluff Arkansas affiliate KATV's morning news program "Daybreak" for a few years, and on the then-ABC Memphis affiliate (now Fox 13) WHBQ-TV's "AM Memphis" which also used this tune for a few years, until this program was renamed "Good Morning Memphis," which remains on Fox 13 to this day.
Catching up on your posts were bright spots during lockdown (and since). I'll look forward to hearing you back in action.
Your channels should be heritage. I follow you from Mexico, from your beginnings. I wanted to see a parade of some MONO promos from the 60s. I would also have liked one day to see everything about your workplace, to see your mountains of records. you are the best youtuber of early music, you are my favorite youtuber. I love the best music of the 50s, 60s and 70s. greetings!

Hi Bob, I really hope everything works out! You are without a doubt in my opinion the best channel on here! I love your music!
And extend the same hopeful thoughts to this channel as well. Most of those incredible playlist/albums I've made had to rely on the posts from this and The45Prof channels!
Damn. I was hoping you would’ve been able to squeeze in Quarterflash’s 1981 hit, “Harden My Heart” before the copyright police caught on. Wish you the best !
I would definitely challenge them, most of these people are just hit and run they won’t respond back and YT will just close the case and remove the strike

Hello Bob,
Another RUclipsr who also uploads similar videos like yourself made a comment to me that copyright strikes last ninety days. Three copyright strikes in a ninety day period though will result in the uploader to be "terminated", and the risk of "not being back" anymore.
Well, to me this is not like a baseball game, where you're "strike out" after the third "copyright strike", because by uploading the original record label there are no hidden stuff, as all information is there.
Perhaps by including an additional disclaimer like "Columbia records copyright currently owned by Sony Music" could help (or Universal Music, or whoever owns it). Otherwise every time you upload a video would be like walking on a minefield.
At this time and age when music and singing is anything but, your work is really appreciated, as it's like a music archaeologist, salvaging hits from practically all along the 20th century and uploading them for everyone to enjoy, which include the original record label, a great audio quality, and additional comments about the performer.

Hope things get resolved soon, but we all need breaks, I'm taking a break away from family and friends as myself and the wife go on our bi-annual cruise to the Bahamas, end of next week.

I'll never understand the music policy of youtube. For example for years people couldn't put Beatles music here but since last autumn they've been allowed to do it.

I go all the way back with you to WFBR. I even beat you at your old Stump the DJ contest and have immensely enjoyed the 2 more recent channels. So take your time and make sure the YT gremlins dont strike again.

Could you please provide a link to your Moments To Remember channel. I found several channels with that or a similar name, and I'm not sure which one is yours. Since I enjoy several of your channels, I'd like to check out that one.

There was another channel similar to this one about a few years ago. Suddenly, they had 3 strikes. That account and channel got closed. That channel was not based in the United States. It was based in Canada. I assume the rules were much stricter than the US. I was told their government ordered the channel to cease operations immediately. Please come back in the future. Take Care!

@@jab1289 Yes, that was one of the channels. I found out they were quite a few channels that ordered shut down by the government.
I think you should consider discontinuing the postings completely, which will greatly decrease the chances of the channels being removed, and all the content being removed along with it.
And then, What happened to the problem for complete the 1981 hits archive postings? I will follow this channel.
