When I was a kid in elementary school, our teacher asked us our favorite animal for some project and I said a bandicoot she said I have to choose an animal that actually exists.
I have to be honest, it was not until CTR was released this year that I found out bandicoots were actually Australian. I knew they were real, so I'm one up on your teacher at least, but as and Australian, when I found out I was little disappointed in myself. Hahahah
Many years ago when it was ps1 crash there was a design your a new animal contest I did dingodile and the teacher had an in depth convo fan girling over the game 3rd grade or so 😂
My problem was that I was really into Australia, and I kept doing Dingodile's accent throughout second or third grade. He was a combination of two of my favorite animals, so of course I loved him!
While I was to old to get into Crash at the time, I still will watch this not only because it supports you but because I love hearing the nostalgia and joy in your voices talking about the games that you loved from your youth! :)

My first-ever game was Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage, and the next game I unwrapped was Crash Bash. So, I've been a fan of Spyro and Crash since 2003, and I have not stopped loving them. Spyro is my favorite of the two, both with the games in general, characters, music scores, and when it comes to replaying the games, but I still love both nonetheless. I definitely agree that they need to do Spyro next.
I still have a PS1 that works after sixteen years, and I own most of the console games besides Crash Team Racing (admittedly, though, both of my copies of Nitro Kart and Tag Team Racing were so messed up when I got them that they don't work; I hope to get them fixed, and I'm glad I wasn't the one who damaged them) and before the N. Sane Trilogy. I just beat Warped to the highest possible percentage, and I'm about to start Crash Bash. My favorite Crash game is a tie between Warped and Twinsanity (the latter of which still has one of my favorite video game scores), and my top five favorite characters for the series are Crash himself, Dingodile, Cortex, Tiny, and Uka-Uka.
Um if it's anything Megumi was named after Product Manager and Marketing Manager for the first three Crash Games in Japan and creator of the Crash Dance, Megumi Hosoya
I wonder what kind of animation would get the player upon completing the game 100%. Because the ending suggest a replay, grinding all remaining gems. (But thank god I don't have to play Crash 1 again, because the sequels)

I’m pretty sure that this Japanese serial killer wasn’t the only one at the time taking people’s heads off. And the content in which the game is presented is obviously comical. It’s was light hearted, funny and adorable. Crash never lost his head in the clip shown. That one is stretching it a bit. I’m sure you can find a lot of serial killer mo similarities in Japanese games too if you really want to be nit picky. Especially if you’re talking horror. So why the fuck are they complaining? Fatal Frame has scenes where people have their eyes removed. But no an adorable Bandicoot getting comically squashed is too much
Why is Japan so scared of western character designs? There are other art forms other then anime. And as much as I love anime and the style, I think it’s a little ridiculous to change the art style of a game just because it’s something that you don’t normally see. I can’t think of one instance where the western twin of a Japanese game art style was changed so dramatically
