great job on this documentary, it really captures the gravity of the situation. however, i can't help but think that labeling it as the "disaster of the century" might be a bit of an overstatement when we consider other significant events in history. what do y'all think?
This is NOT the most deadly natural disaster in the last 100 hundred years. In 1931, a river in China flooded killing 3 million people. In Pakistan in 1970 a hurricane killed between 300,00-500,000 people. In 2010 a hurricane in Haiti killed 220,000 people. That's just off the top of my head. there are many more earthquakes and floods that have devastated the Earth throughout history. it's really hard to comprehend that we are a speck of dust swirling in the universe in the hands of our Almighty Creator.

Thanks for sharing. An era of climate change is coming. The melting of the poles has begun, there will be severe storms, floods, earthquakes.... All the coastal cities will be razed. There is no time to waste on vain things. Whoever is eliminating his psychological defects will be safe from the catastrophes that will come. The key is in the book "Hercolubus or Red Planet" by V.M. Does (did) the president make the same statements to the perpetrators of all the forest burning as well as to the victims of uncontrolled palm oil expansion?
Palm tree is still tree that provides oxygen, and it stays for years to harvest, unlike acres of vegetables farm in the US where it's subjected to planting over and over again and not replenishing the world's oxygen
Lmao, talk to the California state and Australia. In Indonesia, there is no more forest burning from 2016 until today. We mitigated the problem and gave heavy punishment for the actors behind the disaster. While California forest burn happens each year.
Well some parts of the world still believe in god. Especially Aceh provinces which have a strong history with Islamic teaching. Don't blame them, it's something that is part of their DNA because it is still inheritable, and they all agreed to live within Islamic syaria rules.

Not an overstatement as it is indeed the disaster of the century when it occurred since it involved several regions across the world in a single event
Name another natural disaster that has claimed over 100,000 lives in over 10 countries,
250k victims in one day, 14 countries impacted. 9,8 richter in seismic scale.
This is the 21st century most deadly natural disaster.
