Can we talk about how utterly badass this scene is? He punched through the floor of the bus like it was nothing, shushes the guards for no reason other than troll them, and then proceeds to beat their daylights out. Then it cuts back to him with a taunting expression because the suit is rumpled, nodding mockingly.

I like that he stops the villains from entering by being asleep. He (loudly) punches a hole through the bottom of the transport and also tells people to “shhh” before beating them to submission instead of negotiating. He sits there dreaming then gets out of the vehicle without explaining anything. This is the type of stuff Marvel movies are missing.
Well the problem is, I could see them doing a scene like this, but they'd linger on it. Instead of taking 37 seconds, it'd take at least 4-5 minutes with lines like "Ummm.. Hello? He's not even reacting. Why is this guy in my va- who let him into the van? He _punched_ his way in are you serious??" That kinda pointless dialogue that attempts to but fails at being relatable. It wouldn't snappy and corny like this, letting the jokes speak for themselves.
When your plan is so epic, you sit there reliving the whole thing in your mind while the villain sits there, respectfully, not attacking you, you acknowledge how epic it was and then make your amazing escape. Brilliant.
I like the idea that he was sitting there the entire time, reliving that entire flashback in head, and just not explaining anything to her. Simply nodding to himself over what a good job he did.
Notice the enemies still frozen in place, too shocked at Supaidaman's badassery, they still struggle to comprehend what's going on while Supaidaman rolls out the van and away.
It might be because of peni but I would love to see him return as well. Plus it'd be such a miss considering how many kamen rider kicks have been showing up in animation recently that I feel Spider-verse is going to do one as well. Take full advantage of a spider-man that has strong ties with the rider-kick.
He's basically been confirmed to be like the strongest Spiderman, I think even by Stan Lee, so clearly they could bring a force that powerful into the spider verse 😂
This song is so groovy! It perfectly fits this chaotic good character. You can practically tell how much fun the orchestra was having playing this. Especially those drums at the end.

This was one of the earliest TOEI and Tokusatsu. This even predate Sentai. In fact, the mecha in Spiderman inspired Sentai and Power Rangers plenty other Japanese superhero. Even Pacific Rim was indirectly inspired from this.

Marvel doesn’t own the rights to the show after the show finished airing the rights were given to Toei but Marvel and Toei do co-own the show and three seasons of sentai and their characters. Meaning Marvel can do whatever with Spider-man or Battlefever J through Sun Vulcan (and in some of the newer comics apparently Akibaranger too) it’s just when it comes to the distribution of Spider-man that’s all on Toei, we’re definitely not getting the sentai seasons because of hasbro tho

I really can't imagine how Batman could ever beat Spiderman. He can lift 10 tons and everything moves in slow motion for him unless the opponent is also an enhanced being. Which Batman is not. Honestly Batman would be rendered helpless by copious use of webs alone.
@@davec3651 Exactly. Batman fights metahumans by taking advantage of being underestimated, them having more strength then skill, and them not being cautious. Spiderman is not any of those things. Its the same reason Deathstroke is often able to 1v1 Batman and win, even without his OP armor, cause he lacks the weaknesses most metahumans have being a veteran mercenary before becoming a super soldier. Plus, webbing is easily one of the best deterrents against useful gadgets, webbing to the utility belt would not be easy to handle, and its hard to get out of unless you have certain superpowers. Spiderman once beat Iron Man just by knocking Tony back with a punch hard enough to make his knuckle bleed, then used ALL his webbing at once to 100% immobilize him, and finally removed his faceplate with spider strength and wall gripping hands.
He is spiderman. (1) He defeats his enemies while joking. (2) He talks about how he outsmarted while crossing his arms (not necessary, and he continues to be in danger). (3) He escapes without incident.
This is a faithful adaption of the old spiderman animated series that spawned bazillions of memes. The humor is on point and the manly voice acting is just cherry on the top.

Its kind of amazing how well shot this is and good the flow is for a strange cultural interrpretation of something.
I love the ending. He gets out, crawls behind the bus, and in the next shot he has teleported 30 feet away from the bus. Amazing cinematography

I really can't imagine how Batman could ever beat Spiderman. He can lift 10 tons and everything moves in slow motion for him unless the opponent is also an enhanced being. Which Batman is not. Honestly Batman would be rendered helpless by copious use of webs alone.
@@davec3651 Exactly. Batman fights metahumans by taking advantage of being underestimated, them having more strength then skill, and them not being cautious.
Spiderman is not any of those things. Its the same reason Deathstroke is often able to 1v1 Batman and win, even without his OP armor, cause he lacks the weaknesses most metahumans have being a veteran mercenary before becoming a super soldier.
Plus, webbing is easily one of the best deterrents against useful gadgets, webbing to the utility belt would not be easy to handle, and its hard to get out of unless you have certain superpowers. Spiderman once beat Iron Man just by knocking Tony back with a punch hard enough to make his knuckle bleed, then used ALL his webbing at once to 100% immobilize him, and finally removed his faceplate with spider strength and wall gripping hands.
What makes this so good is that you can EASILY see Peter Parker trolling just like this.
