ABC 12 Flint affiliate helps promote Pink Out the Park

ABC 12’s 11 p.m. Newscast sports report showcased a portion of the FOX Sports Detroit interview that Dr. Kathleen Kirtek, breast radiologist from Karmanos Cancer Institute, did from Comerica Park to promote the Detroit Tigers’ seventh annual Pink Out the Park. Karmanos has partnered with the Tigers each year for Pink Out the Park to raise awareness of breast health and support breast cancer research. This year’s event will take place on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13. Dr. Kirtek’s husband, JR Kirtek, is chief meteorologist for ABC 12.
