He’s brilliant. I was in the same year when entering Princeton grad school and lived in the same “ New College “ (dorm) as Terry in the early 90s. He was so young and we all saw him at dinner each night. I’m in the humanities so we weren’t close. He was roughly 16 or so if I remember correctly. Later, I would sometimes see him walking on Witherspoon, deep in thought. He had this same Australian accent in those days as well.
Tao is a very good communicator. Modest, fluent, responsive, considered, honest, and humorous. Very good person, a great scholar and a gentleman to the core..

Polymath is such an amazing movement and platform. But it has famous papers and no citations for the authors. They could just put everyone's name in tha paper.
