How to... Change the chain on an Aldi Gardenline / Ferrex Petrol Chainsaw

Swapping over the chain for a new one. For reference the chain is 57 links when you have to buy a new one

All well and good, but you didn't mention what chain to purchase if you're changing one out. I have a different model than yours. I threw the original chain away--very dumb--and replaced it with an S52 which doesn't fit well around the knob and the chain fits very loosely. I'm constantly having to put the chain back on. The online owner's manual says to use a "91PJ052X" replacement chain, but if you walk into a big box store the chains are identified by length and these codes: S50, T50, R50, S52 and so on and so forth. Can you tell me what chain is on your model. There is one section of tooth on the chain that will have the part number. Thank you.

Any body have a problem with it not wanting to go. You pull the trigger and it tries to start then 2 sec later the red light comes on ?? like its internal jamed ???

Not a fan of the bar lock on that model, they tend to work lose even when properly tensioned and locked. Chainsaw adjuster and lock should always be the traditional 2 bolter.
