I have the older HK locklid 165 round pods. Can't use them with an R1 or LTR because they hold too much paint. Still dont like them on a Spire, but at least usually it takes almost the whole pod. I can't imagine using 185 capacity pods...
Bro I use those massive 186 pinokio pods. Full one tops up my Ir2 no sweat.
@@fusefire8200 Glad you like your giant pods, cause I regret buying 165 over standard. I need to just sell them. I'm too honest and I tell people they're TOO big, then they don't want them. I also run an IR2 (standard shells ~200 round capacity)
CS3 or Luxe TM40🤔 which one do you guys recommend

both are great markers but alot of it depends on personal preference. such as the shot quality, sound signature, feel of the gun and lots of other factors. My best recommendation would be trying them both out whether that be finding someone on the field who owns either or heading in to our shop (if your local) & holding both of them. I’ve had both - deff CS3
The luxe feels like a toy in the hands
I have a tm40 and a 180r, since the 180 is basically a cs3 id just save like 600 bucks and get the 180.
And that is why those HK pods are garbage!
I bought a 6 pk of those pods and as we were staging a pod opened up and I was 1 pod down and another time i was putting my harness back on at the table and another pod opened up and dumped paint.
They are absolute garbage!
I have been playing at 280 since I started in 96.
For those whom don't know, the shot is more true at 280.
I do not know the science behind it, but they grouping is FAR better.
My only guess is less turbulence
Softer on paint as well. :)
