Thanks for the videos Tom hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving I have the same problem with cold hands, it's the carb spray and gas evaporating that cools them, as much as I hate them I sometimes use the rubber gloves We have a very damp cold here in North Florida just like you and it penatrates the bones lol, used to live in New York and cold take that cold much better
Hey fatso, because it would choke him out. Atlanta doesn't hardly get cold anyhoo. They think it does but they no permafrost or road heaves. Just Doby saying, oh gosh it is too cold hyear then he leaves the door open. Hereabouts he would close that door without even thinking about it.
The one you are working on in this video is much simpler that the one I am dealing with. It has 6 gaskets, a heat deflector, and an insulator between the carb and the engine, all held together with the same two screws. For extra fun, the air box is designed so that you have no access to the carb without uninstalling it. smh
From the crappy recoils, to the studs that come out with the recoil, to the ridiculously complicated carb setup, I hate Hondas. Did I say that I hate Hondas? Whenever I get this one running, it is the last one I'm messing with. I wouldn't even pull one out of the trash.
Good stuff
Get you a set of torch tip cleaners. I have a set from the 70s, and that is the best thing I have found for carb jets.
Saved another Honda , great job. Thank you for the video and the shout out 👍🎅🏻🇺🇸
Yay a carburetor cleaning video, you limp like Doc is limping.
i pulled a right butt cheek muscle trying to climb the roof hahaha
@@TomDobyMowerRepair All that dancing help with the pulled muscle last night?

If it’s so cold, why don’t you close the garage door ?

What kind of screwdriver do you use for carb jets? I have the Briggs driver, but I can't find anything that will reliably fit the other brands.
i got the red handle one from the hardware store, it works good
