Hi I'm your new subscriber I love watching your videos and it also hit me so hard. I'm a daughter who grew up w/ out my mom for 27 years because she's an ofw at Hong Kong. Now I'm 32 w/ 2 kids and she's still working abroad. I just wanted to say that ofw's are heroes because of their sacrifices spending almost half of their lives working away from family just to provide their needs. Just want to say I'm a very proud daughter from Philippines.

The line of the kid "Ako pa rin ba favorite mo? (am i still your favorite?) really made me cry. I never been the favorite son regardless of the things I've done which I accepted already. :(
You don't have to be the favorite son, just make them your favorite people and I'm sure they're appreciating everything you do.
I feel you. I have been a consistent honor student since my grade school until high school but there was never any appreciation from my parents. I moved out after high school BUT still I went back home because there's no other home than your family. Now my parents are in heaven.

5:36 for the people who don't understand the story She works abroad as a nanny and is taking care of another child and eventually she treated her son like that was the boy who she was taking care of and the son feels replaced because she forgot all the things he likes and she has to go back abroad to work again as a nanny

Aww I felt that that the father wants to know about Anna, me too i have lesbian partner that my dad accepted her and I felt so happy that I won't hide it anymore... But the saddest part that my dad passed away. The last word that I never forget that he told me and to my partner we are family 😔😢I miss my dad so badly😭😭😭

The LEVI'S commercial made me realize that so many blind people wear printed clothes not knowing what's really written on the stuff they're wearing. This was a novel idea. Haven't seen anything like it. Kudos, Levi's!!! ♡

They leave their own family their children to go abroad to take care of other people's children just to give their family a much better life and education here in the Philippines. So heartbreaking stories millions out there have the same stories. So sad but they persevere and endure the pain for the sake of their own family. Sacrificing is always been a part of filipino families and that is love. And believing and having Faith in God.😊

Most of US - Filipinos who works ABROAD...our main aim / goal was to earn Money & tried our best to help our Family, relatives & friends ( especially our main Family )… and, to changed our life-style too ( I mean our own life for the better )...Its hard because WE ARE AWAY FROM OUR LOVED ONES ( PARENTS, SIBLINGS & FRIENDS AND, FROM OUR HOME TOWN )… FIRST, ITS HARD TO ADJUST...FEEL HOMESICK especially if you felt sick / ill - you remember / think your parents especially your MOTHER TO BE IN YOUR SIDE ….you know what I mean...SO, its hard / Difficult ...BUT, ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT....YOU'LL BE OKAY....work, work...and earn ??? hahaha...
I have not spent Christmas with my family for 8 years now :( #OFWReality
