fun fact: once shinee members did a solo trip and they did not tell each other where they were going and minkey ended up at the same place on the same plane even i think....then they both changed destinations after roaming that country tgt for 2-3 days ....like those two are destined to be together
yeah they both went to the UK and Minho mainly went to see soccer while Key wanted to enjoy the fashion and things like from there

The thing is that Minho started out living with super junior, with leeteuk and heechul who are SUUUPPPERRRR clean freaks. When he asked Key to do the dishes, he was cleaning up as well, kinda like delegating tasks. He was their imo’s favourite too because he always helped kept their dorm neat. Initially cleaners don’t cook for the idols, but theirs did, with stuff sent by the parents and grandma etc. and apparently she usually cooked ming’s faves. (An imo is what the call the cleaner aunty, and SM’s imos do cook for their idols now.)
Key at the time was still into the whole I’m in this for me, we are not friends I’m here to succeed mode. He talked about it later in a different show that because Minho showed him selfless sincerity and support that he finally felt safe enough let his guard down. Older Shawols think because Minho looks like the typical popular handsome jock type just rubs key the wrong way, plus he though he had to fight for every crumb and Minho got it on a platter (not true of course, Minho thinks he is deficient and half killed himself trying to improve and sees key as an ace).
They learned to truly see each other and hear the truth with an awareness of the preconceived bias awhile back and been besties ever since. In small doses, of course. Its like Key is a cat who is loved by a freaking GSD. Hes said that he would like to be reborn as Minho to see life the way he does.
YES!! I have always thought of Key as a cat!! He is sassy, hilarious, unpredictable, and on his guard.
