I think I've figured out why I like this channel so much. I mean, I followed everyone over after the split from the previous channel, so I was already a fan, for sure. But I'm always happy to sit and listen/watch to all of you guys play games/analyze things/tell stories, etc. This channel just feels cozy, y'know? It's always so chill and positive. Dan and Carrie, and Dan Jones as well, all seem like they're always so relaxed and happy, even during clearly frustrating or tedious parts of games. It seems like there's a commitment to that kind of attitude during their gameplay, and some excellent editing work if something definitely is going to start to drag on. There's also unabashed reveling in sweetness/cuteness/wholesomeness in games, even non-traditional sources of it, and that's just great. They all also lean into the silliness and fun of things, and aren't afraid to show their pure delight for things. They don't get all hung up on showing they're "above" that (Which is an attitude I've frankly never understood in people anyway - Just be happy and enjoy the things you enjoy, right?) And like, Dan and Carrie being sweet goofballs with each other in co-op games like this is just always adorable. So, yeah, like I said - Cozy. I've had a rough sort of year with the derailing of my life plans due to a chronic health condition, so I've spent a lot of time doing low-energy activities like watching RUclips and such. Stuff like PlayFrame always helps to brighten my day, whether I have it on my monitor as I'm doing something else or dozing off and leaving it on for background noise with other stuff in my daily watchlist. So, like, basically: Thanks, you guys, for continuing to be your awesome, happy selves.
10:05 - "It's hard to make friends with a sword" Petition for the best duo to play Boyfriend Dungeon when it comes out? 15:57 - "Lets head for the grave, before something icky pops out." Of the grave, or Puku? Given the previous lines, that ambiguity is unsettling...
Hello Personaly I think it deserves at least one extra episode to show the toy and what it can do, maybe one confrontation with the big bad? Not sure how long it would take?
Carrie's voice acting for Mormo was amazing! And I love the acting for the robot character too! So precious! Edit: Dan's delight at the robot character made is even better
I just re-found this channel after a long pause after the Dark Souls series. I am so glad I found this again because I miss Dan from Extra Credits and hearing his voice here makes me so happy.
11:20: Eh, it's no Spacey Lemur. (Shame that Carrie's voice acting peaked so early in the channel's lifespan.) EDIT: 17:40: Dan has a point, maybe I spoke too soon.
36:44 I think Dan talked about this at some point on a different channel. I think he called it gaming literacy. the X buttons on controllers are in different locations depending on systems (PS, XBox, Nintendo).
So I didn't notice anyone saying this, but the difference between original Ditto and Curse of Mormo is that you no longer restart a loop when you die unless you are in the last dungeons. You'll just repsawn!
Hi Dan. I just wanted to recommend a game for you : "Wonder boy : The dragon's trap" (free with twitch prime right now). It's a remake of maybe the best game of the Sega Master System console. What's really interesting is that with one click of a button you go from HD graphics to 8bits graphic (even during a boss fight). So you can compare the graphics and animations of both era.
I played a couple runs of this, but it kinda just made me wish they did a non-randomly generated game so everything could feel more unique and fun. Because of the nature of this game being hand animated the way it is it bumps up against the rouge-like problem of not enough just environmental variety to prevent everything from feeling too samey between runs. and with the amount of care put into the animation i feel like they could design a really good and fun zelda top down adventure type game that would be more fun to play. Although i do enjoy the variety of playable characters, specially all the different animal ones like wolves, cats, dogs. all of those are very cute.
I think that the robot might have accidentally gotten sent the homework from a programming 101 class installed into it, what with the "Hello world" function being repeated over and over. XD
Been a while since I've heard a Dominic. Dan and Carrie must have gotten better at recording and/or editing in the past couple of years of...recording and editing hours of footage every week.
I haven't finished the video yet, so maybe you've already given a name to this robot who loves greetings, but if not, I would like to submit "Hello-bot" for your consideration.

Those are some very kind compliments! Thanks, and I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)
This year's "Best of" video is just gonna be 5 minutes of Carrie saying "hello" over and over again.
i am pleased.
It IS strangely compelling. Now I wanna say "hello" every time I see a robot face too.
Carrie roleplaying a friendly, happy robot was a thing I needed this Sunday morning.
ok that "_No Data" joke got me good
Carrie is the cutest most wholesome robot
Usually I can’t hear Dominic when you apologize for him, but he really was throwing a temper tantrum this tome. Nice job keeping your cool.

YESSSSS
Hello
Personaly I think it deserves at least one extra episode to show the toy and what it can do, maybe one confrontation with the big bad? Not sure how long it would take?
Yes please, another episode of the cute hello Robot!
I love how the robot says hello to everything. You could generalize that to "Hello world".
Carrie's voice acting for Mormo was amazing!
And I love the acting for the robot character too! So precious!
Edit: Dan's delight at the robot character made is even better
Thank you guys for always being so pleasant. :) I especially needed that today.
I just re-found this channel after a long pause after the Dark Souls series. I am so glad I found this again because I miss Dan from Extra Credits and hearing his voice here makes me so happy.
Welcome!

Thank you for reminding me of Spacey Lemur, legit one of if not the best things to come out of the channel.
46:53 Hey! Who says homeschoolers can't interact with people?
We may be weird, but at least we're interesting
My week really needed some Carrie and Dan. TY
Ha, Dan called the Popper gun a narf blaster. Has someone been listening to TAZ Amnesty?
I for one would like to see more of this :D
You guys should play L.O.V.E.R.S. In A Dangerous Spacetime
36:44 I think Dan talked about this at some point on a different channel. I think he called it gaming literacy. the X buttons on controllers are in different locations depending on systems (PS, XBox, Nintendo).
I saw the jumpcut in the robot shop
So how much time did you 2 spend picking eachother up and throwing? ;-)
14:57 is almost exactly Link to the Past starting house
Holy! I actually heard Dominic!!!
Demonic!!!
24:20 Narf Blaster... do I detect an Adventure Zone reference??
This is super Hilda-like.
Or Final Space-like.
I'd be happy to see more of this. :D
Hunh, at first glance this reminds me a lot of "ittle dew" by Ludosity, but I guess this is someone entirely different....
Yoooo!! That was the first time I actually heard Dominic!
Linux gamers don't listen to Carrie's lies the game ALSO is on Linux not just windows and Mac .
Anyway back to watching the episode.
Need more episodes of "Hello" please!
I really hadn’t thought about how many games involve sleeping heroes before Playframe ^_^
7:14 I loved both Over the Garden Wall and Hilda. OTGW feels right a stand-alone but i hope HIlda gets more seasons.
The problem with fighting hornets is the needle they keep throwing =^)
im in love with the hello robot
this game is so cute, but the fact that each of your runs is 100 years apart makes me anxious
No, DATA!
So I didn't notice anyone saying this, but the difference between original Ditto and Curse of Mormo is that you no longer restart a loop when you die unless you are in the last dungeons. You'll just repsawn!

Hello.
Ditto, use Swords Dance! Wait, wrong game.

I'm not gonna say it. Never have, never will. Never been in that kinda of place either. Till now...
xD
Carrie is like Link discovering a PotteryBarn ;)

Can carriebot come back and host more games
Games master robot, a known associate of TASBot
It was released on PC as well.
Oh. So Dominic is the neighbor with the car. I thought it was a feline sherman tank that got too close to the mic.
Yes, more
that is adorable
It's also on Switch

WE DEMAND CAT PLAYS
This was so good and sweet
You two are such a cute couple. I love how cooperative you are.
Yay! Carrie!!
It's Jerry the Flumph as a robot XD.
I understood that reference.
the robot is the cutest! Dan, I can see why you married this robot, she is the cutest ever!
Shereef says aloha
I adore this game, it's so cute!
No touching!
Hello, Dominic ^_^
Isn't this game on all major platforms (except xbox)? PC/PS4/Switch
*emperor voice* do it.
Nice tunes :3
Favourite pickup line: "Hello"
And according to the game, it works!
Has a watch, isn't sure how to tell time. *shrug* (Honestly, I'd like to see more, just to hear you figure it out)
CAAARIIEEE
OOOOOOOOWW
