Thanks very much for sharing this video. I'm currently struggling with my decision between these 2 setups (2023 V7 Special). I'm leaning towards the Agostini option but wondered if you still like them better than the Mistrals? The Agostinis have the db killers installed in the video, correct? Thanks again!! hey both exhausts are with the DB killer in I still like them better I think, because they have more "tones" to them, they can sound in multiple ways depending on what you do: accelerate normal, under load, decelerate, etc the mistrals were more constant and didn't respond differently
also the Agostini have a burble, while the mistrals like a roar everything about these is very subjective, depends what you like what I can say is both are excellent choices
@@KTR2020_1 I currently switched again to the Mistrals and enjoying them, maybe more than the first time I had them installed. so I guess it's not bad to have this option to alternate :)
there could be improvements if you do a remap, however officially both manufacturers do not mention the need for a remap. having said that, with the Mistrals I get more pops and bangs (which I know are technically not good but I love how they sound), with the Agostini I get none. A remap I think also gets rid of these pops
@@ovidiu2951 I love the sounds of pop! I didn't know it's not good for the engine? I plan to get a guzzi v7 soon, and I would like to change to agostini without remapping, I hope it's ok Thank you again
@@Lovndabeats yes as mentioned with the Agostini it's very rare that I get pops, very similar to the stock pipes. I feel a remap is very optional with them. enjoy your new bike when you get it, it's an awesome piece of pure mechanical joy!
There are several videos posted on RUclips where owners of both spoke to the manufacturers and verified that remap is only required if you remove the DB killers. Doing so causes lean-burn. Many on the forums seem to confirm this reporting noticeably hotter engines with the DB Killers out.
Mistral sounds good, but Agostinis Better, slightly deeper and looks awesome
agostini is more or burping, and mistral is like rawr-ing, slighthly different character in each, but they both fit the bike so nicely
Love that sound ,a must have:)

Awesome!! Appreciate your input!!

hallo. very nice bike! was there a big difference in the matter of price between those 2? where are you from?
the price for both was more or less similar. I ordered them both directly from their manufacturers in Italy. I currently live in Barcelona, Spain
Mistral more better ❤
Is it OK to just change the slip on exhaust without remapping? Thank you 🙏🏼

You didn't get behind the Agos as much as the Mistrals, pity.
I might make a video for the Agostini, I have them installed on the bike currently
I have the Agostini's so maybe I'm biased lol, I feel they are getting a deeper note as they wear.
