Nayab Ali Khan saheb is a shining star of classical music in our times. Such maturity and solid grip on all aspects of raag sangeet is phenomenal. I listened to him and Inam Ali Khan sb when they sang Puriya Dhanashree in Shahi Hamaam in Lahore a good 6-7 years ago and it's still etched in my mind!
His thoughts and opinions are also as sound as his music, which is not always the case with musicians.

Wonderful interview by Munazza madam. Nayab ji's rendition of Darbari, Puriyadhanashri and Saakh in this interview, though short are very captivating. His style of singing clearly reflects his Ustad Late Fate Ali Khansaab's gaayki. He is ably carrying on the tradition of Patiala Gharana. His narration is coherent and as pleasant as his pleasing personality. Another striking aspect that is notable is Nayab Ji's humility while answering and expressing his views on various aspects of music. Best wishes to Nayab ji for all his endeavours.

Overall Aahang-e-Khusravi is a great initiative. Just two things:
1. Please don't add the background music over the conversation. Such music is usually used for cookery videos where the host is not talking but just showing something. In this case, it's a very interesting conversation and the mechanical music looping in the back is just sickeningly annoying! You're not gaining any audience because of this music.
2. Munazza saheba needs to keep the questions short and let the guest answer talk more. The job of an interviewer is to be as invisible as possible while eliciting thoughts from the guest. If the idea of the 'podcast' is to have a two-way conversation, then the host should be an accomplished classical musician (e.g. Ustad Faheem Mazhar) so that the conversation is high quality from both sides. Otherwise, it's just too much yapping from the host wasting the podcast time.
Jealously among artists is common in both Pakistan and India. Apart from that, every one starting from top Ustads to RUclipsr teachers (growing these days) do not teach their core skill, they bluff students teaching non core things so that no one can compete with them.
