You make some really good points that I never thought of, like keeping legs low to the ground, not extending, too far out in back, looks like a glide to ride! That’s what I like at this age, a nice smooth sailing so to speak

Nice education for me as always Larry. I just purchased a weanling filly decent bred. Nothing spectacular. She’s a great granddaughter of high brow cat on bottom and great granddaughter of peppy San badger on the topside. I’ve always liked peppy bred horses and I know they’re not for everybody. I decided to buy her after my last spring breeding didn’t work out. Still have plans to breed the mare next spring but just wanted to get something on the ground going as soon as I could so bought the filly. Looking forward to applying your training style in years to come. Thanks

Really enjoyed this video. Especially when you stopped the action, so I could see it better. Thanks.

Larry what is that martingale doing being adjusted so short, take it off and let the horse show his paces,or adjust it correctly

That's not me on the horse and that's not my martingale... and yes, it's adjusted too short. Personally, I don't like a running martingale at all.
