dribblezthagod I think that's mostly true, but I think another big part of it is that a lot of the Look See Samples are actually illegal. I've heard recently that the FBI is looking into this, there's one or two Nike employees that illegally take those Samples and sell them (and I think you'd know the instagram names, they're notorious for having PEs and Samples of everything). Of course there are some samples that Nike releases promotionally to celebs, athletes, (probably even guys like PP at this point) etc that do find their way to the market and collectors buy them (for instance the Oregon PEs). But many of the samples were never meant to be sold at all. They were meant to be destroyed (like wear test samples). If you look at Perfect Pair's instagram, he deleted many of the pics he had of his samples, and I've been told it's because there's an investigation ongoing. Not that he would get in trouble, but those Nike employees probably are.
