Update from a couple of months ago, 2 friends made and some advice to give for those looking for friends. Look in smaller communities that have your interest, and try to remain engaged in them. If you just sit passively and write "ok" or "cool" for your responses you won't get anywhere, try to get to know the people more and focus on yourself less

Eh, why be worried? I'm 28 and besides some horrendously shit life events transpiring, every year since 20 has felt pretty similar in terms of my age. Kids give me back problems, I have stress, I have memory issues, I laugh, I love, I cry, I play great games, I listen to metal and I rinse/repeat.

So if you're here to tell me it's going to get better in 2 years, then I'm chuffed. If you're saying it somehow gets worse, that's quite a claim haha.

Normally, I'm not into survival horror games, but the way Humble Games present the game in the trailer really caught my eye. I thought it might interest you as well. The reviews are very positive. If you ever decide to give it a shot, I would love to hear your opinion about it.
Dudeee. I’ve been yelling from the hilltops how great Signalis is. Loved every second of it. As an old school survival horror game fan, it felt absolutely made for me. So much style. Also, I lived in Germany for a while and speak decent German, and I appreciate that a LOT of the German was left untranslated in many of the cutscenes and game assets, added a little extra something for me haha
I used to work for an indie movie chain. Major studios would send boxes of free branded promotional material to the theaters--hats, shirts, random items relevant to the movie--for upcoming releases. Do game studios do that? It was a fun perk of the job. Had so many random shirts/items branded for movies I still have never seen.

I'm pretty similar, and something about saving that $100+ for a preorder of a game you've been following and anticipating for years; is really exciting. I too only preorder something I am either super keen for, or that I know I will love.
I would love to ask you about resolution modes on next gen consoles. For most games they have fidelity and performance modes which target 30 and 60fps. I don’t seem to get tho that 1440p/1080p resolution doesn’t increase the fps on consoles. It takes less processing power than 4k, so it should logically improve framerates. Thanks for the vids dude!

Hell yea. Rollerdrome and Signalis were my games of the year last year. Indie’s have been absolutely killing it. Playing Rollerdrome on my big OLED is an insanely great experience. Was a Rollerdrome 2 announced?!

The Mummy has its own perfect fit in it’s time from when it was released. As much as I love Brendan Fraser and would love to see it a new one with him I think it would be very hard to capture that nostalgic excitement like the originals did but who knows it is Brendan Fraser so I’d watch it regardless 🤷🏻♂️

You know 2012 was around the time gaming took a downward spiral. RUclips got really really popular and everyone became a critic. I was even swept up by the masses and didn’t play games that reviewers said were awful. I stopped doing this when mass effect andromeda came out. Horrible reviews but I loved it. Now I play what makes me happy. Things I enjoy. Screw the criticism. Life is to short for that. I do watch your before you buy videos because you keep it straight.

Rdr2 was the last game I preordered but I do have Atomic Heart pre installed, shout out to game pass. One of the best gaming collectibles I got was from the Saints Row 2 collectors or special edition. It had a metal tin case that I thought was so cool & funky stuff like a money clip. Better times indeed.
I am glad Brenden Fraser is back. But I think it might be too cringey if he comes back for a Mummy sequel . It would be better if he just started a new series that shows his strengths, just like Keanue Reeves with John Wick. Preorders aren't messing up launches. They are not great for gamers. Massive preorders mean that companies already have your money and if the game is hopelessly broken they don't have as much incentive to fix it. Plus, what if it never actually appears? Bloodlines 2 anyone? I get why companies push it, but it's bad for gamers.
I can see Imhotep gtting his ass plastered by an older O'Connel. With a sic one liner "How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?!" But seriously speaking im not against the idea of an older indy type(yes crystal skull is good) setting with like old villians and a bit of new stuff. Next Mummy Movie. Rick O Connell has to bring Immotep back so they can team up and fight some new Mummified baddie. Like a buddy cop movie. Plenty of comedy and banter and jokes about getting old vs being immortal plus the action and hi-jinx. Gotta bring back Rachel Weisz and John Hannah though. Absolute must or don’t bother.

Jake, what are your thoughts on VR? I recently decided I wanted to try it due to Half Life Alyx and Horizon VR but when I went to the website to order PSVR2 it was nearly $600?????? More than the PS5!!!??? What theeeeeee hell man. Is it worth that price?

You know 2012 was around the time gaming took a downward spiral. RUclips got really really popular and everyone became a critic. I was even swept up by the masses and didn’t play games that reviewers said were awful. I stopped doing this when mass effect andromeda came out. Horrible reviews but I loved it. Now I play what makes me happy. Things I enjoy. Screw the criticism. Life is to short for that. I do watch your before you buy videos because you keep it straight.
what are your biggest hopes to see in tears of the kingdom? I heard they're partly reusing the past map so my immediate thoughts are mixed on hearing that.
I mean, BOTW Hyrule was absolutely massive. I'd be shocked if they didn't at least reuse some of it. Especially since I'd be curious how things have changed since the first game.

One of the best gaming collectibles I got was from the Saints Row 2 collectors or special edition. It had a metal tin case that I thought was so cool & funky stuff like a money clip. Better times indeed.
I am glad Brenden Fraser is back. But I think it might be too cringey if he comes back for a Mummy sequel . It would be better if he just started a new series that shows his strengths, just like Keanue Reeves with John Wick. So hear me out: I think he should start a new franchise where he is a Vampire Hunter. I know that sounds corny, but it could be awesome.

Mine is dying light 1 and think its def one of the best zombie games ever made but last of us, dead rising, left 4 dead, resident evil. there are lots of choices so i would like to hear what you think if you are able to choose 1 or even your top 3
Preorders aren't messing up launches. They are not great for gamers. Massive preorders mean that companies already have your money and if the game is hopelessly broken they don't have as much incentive to fix it. Plus, what if it never actually appears? Bloodlines 2 anyone? I get why companies push it, but it's bad for gamers.

But seriously speaking im not against the idea of an older indy type(yes crystal skull is good) setting with like old villians and a bit of new stuff.
