Mine was popping, and a tech person advised wrapping foil tape around the wire/cable. Might not fix your sitch but worth a try? midnight blue is an excellent color I feel and will blend in nicely with your decor even though it's not really anywhere else probably? Anyway I really like both the blankets you chose very nice!
