Faker could've jump out of the ult in a safer spot outside the pit, but no. He knew G2 will hunt him no matter what. He literally jump into 5 man inside a baron pit just for the sole purpose of taunting them all and trap them inside the pit. There is no scenario for Faker to survive that. He took the gamble and his team delivers. This guys is a GOAT for a reason

He literally taunt Hans sama so hard there, Hans tunnel vision into the Taliyah combo and then tank the rumble ult + flash just to kill Faker

Classic G2. Flipping the entire series on a baron call. I was begging to think we weren’t going to see one this MSI but it finally arrived.
Because they're running out of options really. The Tris might have items but the Taliyah is way more dangerous with catches, pokes & zoning. Jax was outright useless, and they had a poke Varus, Ivern and Braum... So there's literally no damage outside of Caps, since the Jax was piss worthless.
Yeah but they had to create something. They lost the lead they had, the more the game went and the more useless tristana would be while taliyah becomes stronger. They tried, got fucked but it would have happened anyway later. You could see how braum was easily killed before the baron compared to the beginning of the series where t1 couldn't do any sort of damage to it. So yeah they had to try, maybe they should have tried for elder in case they could steal it and win the fight with the buff but whatever it's easy to judge while you are not competing with all the pressure on stage

Last 2 games were close, could’ve gone either way but T1 punished the small mistakes made by g2. Props to g2 for making T1 sweat.
They could've made a turnaround after the failed end on game but they literally inted by not clearing top wave and leaving a naut to defend when they know Faker has respawned and can one shot the nexus
This can be said about any T1 series that wasn't a roflstomp from dominating lanes?
Somehow T1 is always there in the game even with some big deposits. They never do "roll over and die" stuff, they are always seeking for a comeback play.
Like even at worlds vs number 1 seed of China, they were behind in games 3 and 4 but some clutch plays won them this games and the series and the world championship eventually.
G2 even always had the gold lead in game 2 and 3. but that lead translate to nothing cause they just getting permacaught and lost the game

Yeah it's still jungle gap for Caps like its always been, right? Wasn't the "carry" jungler what you wanted tho? No matter if it's Jankos, Yike or Canyon it will always be the same, because Caps needs constant attention from his jungler. What we've seen this series is Caps once again being unable to use his leads. For me there isn't any player that stands out in G2, neither negatively or positively.
