Well it’s about as annoying as unlocking stasis was, but at least this is more straightforward, AND likely to be made easier as Bungie processes the feedback and makes QOL adjustments to Strand and surrounding systems. Personally I think we should have the grapple as a grenade AND Melee each, with 2 charges standard (3 on hunter with their aspect). Then maybe cut the grenade charge time by a good 50% minimum, and make it so if you use a grapple point ALL your non-super abilities are recharged immediately, or at least have hastened CDR. Speaking of, it would be a fun exotic that could launch remote detonated rounds in the air like deathbringer that create grapple points at precise locations in demand.
Havent reached the final Story Mission yet but Was under the impression that the game "forces" u to be on Strand subclass, no? Maybe the intended way is to play through Story on normal to unlock Strand, then Grind out on neomuna to get All aspects and fragments, create a propper strand build to have it available when u do the Story on legendary... so far I started out on legendary from the very beginning and was struggling everytime I was on strand subclass.. no propper healing, no overshield etc.. probably doing it all wrong while being underlvl too.. seems harter than legendary WQ campaign (void titan w/ hoil before the harsh nerf)
It's honestly not that grindy, I got enough meditations to buy all the available fragments and grenades the 2nd day. Better than stasis was just wish the frags weren't time gated

The game won't let me buy the strand fragments, and I'm not sure why. I have completed the campaign. I have the subclass and aspects. I have enough of the currency, but for some reason, I can't get the grenades or the fragments.
I thought the same thing. It turns out that you have to "buy" the grenade and fragment you used in the campaign. Long story short, go to the pouka pond and look for the fragment that's not grayed out. Buy it and the others will open. Same thing for the grenades.
You do get the special ability after you beat the campaign and get your character to a max power cap. And also you got to do a lot of side quests and missions like he's about to explain to the rest of us that already have done it before. If you guys ever need help, come to me and I can help you get past the first half of the missions of the new light fault expansion
So Bungie's logic: just 2 grenades per class- cost just 50 each But 14 fragments per character cost 200 each. And that's after they said they wanted to not made it as annoying as stasis? I guess it is somewhat of an improvement but not a big one
after completing the campaign and getting soft cap on one character you can pay 2000 SILVER! per character to skip the campaign and unlock strand on the other classes
How do we get the other exotics from the campaign? Like titans have the boots and helmet. I got the boots. How do I get the helmet? It used to be lost sectors but they said that was going away so now what?
It annoys me that the fragment which directly buffs threadling damage is locked until next week. I guess that's better than waiting for the raid to be completed.
I feel like this grind is so much worse than stasis. Neomuna is one of the most boring patrol spaces ever. I'd rather just do a small quest and get my fragment
Apart from being able to pretend I'm playing Bulletstorm again, I'm not hugely impressed with strand. Not going to bother actively grinding untill something turns up that makes it worth it.
Not gonna lie. Doing the Stasis quests weekly to get the fragments and aspect was REALLY annoying. This doesn't seem AS annoying. But still annoying. But I guess it is what it is.
Guys don’t do the chest glitch. You’ll max out your strand and still have to do activities. Bungie bean counters will see this as a sign that it’s too generous and drop the rates or something of the type. Then the noobs who didn’t exploit the game are having to grind harder. It’s just bad all around. On a second note I wish content creators wouldn’t recommend this either it’s just making it worse.

i get the price is high, but i had over 2000 mediations by the end of doing about 4 of the neptune quests
This really isn't that hard to do. I got all the fragments and grenades, and I have almost 1k banked up by just doing the quests for Nimbus and helping some clan members do other quests.
after you complete star gazer you can get it on anything it says it in the seasonal challenge
I aint farming those shitty strand meditations to get the same fragment i would unlock in a character for a nother character, ill just farm them for my main and thats gonna be later
Grabbed chests all day today and never got an overload key. Only key that I got was from the bounty
Opening the chests doesn’t give overload keys I’ve been opening over 20 of them and nothing dropped
As of 3/2 bungie said they're unlocking all fragments for purchase later today
Please tell me we are gonna get a throne cleaver review.
So dumb 1 year later and I still do not have this unlocked 😂
It's honestly not that grindy, I got enough meditations to buy all the available fragments and grenades the 2nd day. Better than stasis was just wish the frags weren't time gated
stasis was A LOT EASIER to get. it wasnt annoying either like people are saying because you could just run into a nightfall solo and do the objectives in 10 minutes TOPS.
Cross, that was graceful. Good job. We can’t tell when we’re going to go, live every moment like it matters.
PSA this stacks with weapon xp meaning if you run this with a crafted weapon you get ~90% xp per 4 chest THIS STACKSSSSSSSSS meaning running 3 crafte weapons gives you 90% on each which is almost a full level WHIHC IS CRAZY
Don't know what happened but did a bunch of terminal overload today and no strand meditation at all anyone else have this?
I don’t care about strand enough to jump through these hoops again like stasis. I thought they specifically said they were letting us use strand with no strings attached
There is no way in hell i'm farming Neomuna till my eyes bleed just to unlock this shit
Iv got all mine. But lucky i only ever play my Hunter. Just a note, the Terminal Overload weapons arent in the pattern list, i dont think those 3 are craftable.
what build did you use and what did you farm mostly
@@Mikeyzini on strand i was just messing around with exotics and used sixth coyote to get an extra dive. And mainly terminal overload but was doing the side exotic quests
@@fishnutz5196 thanks bro. im having a hard time fast grinding at 1775 - these mobs hit hard
@@Mikeyzini the mobs on neomuna are 1810, im at 1797 and they still hit like trucks. Its not easy but try loading into terminal overload where people are already there
@@fishnutz5196 Lmao no wonder...
I got tbe rare vex event to spawn. But the game crashed right before the boss died. Glad to know i missed out on a exotic.
whew lot there, those region chests are pretty easily found too.
@@greenwaveboi thanks I'll give that a try
Does lost sectors on neomuna give you any?
they do its not much though no clue on legend though i wasnt able to complete
Did they patch these bugs and stuff?
You do get the special ability after you beat the campaign and get your character to a max power cap. And also you got to do a lot of side quests and missions like he's about to explain to the rest of us that already have done it before. If you guys ever need help, come to me and I can help you get past the first half of the missions of the new light fault expansion
So Bungie's logic: just 2 grenades per class- cost just 50 each
But 14 fragments per character cost 200 each. And that's after they said they wanted to not made it as annoying as stasis? I guess it is somewhat of an improvement but not a big one
Why does it have to be so freaking much. I don't have enough hours in the bloody day to sit and grind for hours on end.
Im already exited for guardian games the title got updated
Completely unrelated but is it me or is the boss health bar change really ugly, I hope they switch it back to how it was
Someones editor is working overtime.
Didn’t bungie say we wouldn’t have to unlock strand on multiple characters? I swear I remember seeing that idk maybe I’m misremembering
after completing the campaign and getting soft cap on one character you can pay 2000 SILVER! per character to skip the campaign and unlock strand on the other classes
Wait why I did I post this twice-
SO MUCH INFO!! my poor brain 😩
Weird im not getting 75 strand meditations when I complete the terminal overload event
My game glitched on step 13 of the campaign. So i am stuck until they fix it
For a casual player this is enough to put it down again 😂
Pump out those vids boys!!! Thanks for feeding us. Appreciate your comment and your wife's comment to solo parenting for a few days 😉
Literally never anyone doing terminal overload
Didn’t bungie say we wouldn’t have to unlock strand on multiple characters? I swear I remember seeing that
2,000 silver to unlock though
@@StephenTPD oooh
I feel like this grind is so much worse than stasis. Neomuna is one of the most boring patrol spaces ever. I'd rather just do a small quest and get my fragment
Time gating personally makes me not play or wait till they are unlocked to where they can't
They didn't learn a damn thing from beyond light. It's just as grindy with a fat time wall.
How in the Fuck does this Guy already have Winter bite Exotic Quest unlocked???
Apart from being able to pretend I'm playing Bulletstorm again, I'm not hugely impressed with strand.
Not going to bother actively grinding untill something turns up that makes it worth it.
So rounding up, under 9,000 of this currency needs to be farmed for for 3 characters.
Regional chests are not visible with ghost mods.
Just going to wait till worlds first it’s not even worth it to me at the moment
Not gonna lie. Doing the Stasis quests weekly to get the fragments and aspect was REALLY annoying. This doesn't seem AS annoying. But still annoying. But I guess it is what it is.
Guys don’t do the chest glitch. You’ll max out your strand and still have to do activities. Bungie bean counters will see this as a sign that it’s too generous and drop the rates or something of the type. Then the noobs who didn’t exploit the game are having to grind harder. It’s just bad all around. On a second note I wish content creators wouldn’t recommend this either it’s just making it worse.
