This was happening 60s years ago when Hollywood studios were doing big budgeted films and were failing and indie/international films were becoming popular. Then in the 70s, Hollywood studios hired new executives and hired young directors to make great films. History is repeating itself.

Maybe if Hollywood was focused on making good movies, instead of propaganda for the DNC, their numbers would be better.

I've just checked the polls for Trump, by *race* and *income* . Pretty revealing.
So Trump 2024, by race : White 51%, *Black* 18% (wtf), Hispanic 35%. By income : *blue-collar* 46%, upper 45%.

2:12 - I remember working for the government at the time. Each department got a certain budget and if they came under budget, they wouldn't get the same amount for the next year. So they had to basically piss the money away so they could ask for more money for the next year. and on and on it went.

Can confirm, I’m in the Army and this is how we use our budget. We look for reasons to use it or next year we get less.
I think the salary part needs to be established that when they sign the contract, their expected salary needs to be capped like the drinker said and get more like a bonus in percentage if the movie is successful. Nearly half the budget just for the actors is ridiculous.
This is part of the reason Nicolas Cage has advocated new film stidios in Nevada instead of California. Much less cost in taxes, rent, and materials. Also, getting away from the Hollywood influences

After taking a class in being a production assistant, there are so many union jobs that I can’t believe are employed.

Studios shouldn't be responsible for paying for personal chefs, gym costs etc.
