Now new on the channel!! Please show the retail comparison's! Your absolutely right thar Topps is price gouging!! Fanatics have gotten greedy!! Thank you for sharing this information and sharing a pack also!!! Have a great day!
My son and I are just starting our collections together. I collected years ago. As I sit here and listen to your show, A thought came to my head. With so many different types of boxes and with that, base cards, what is the difference between now, and the Junk Wax era? I know the variation of cards are now the thing, but with those you still get the massive amounts of base cards while attempting to hit the big inserts and variations. Please help me understand the big picture. BTW, I still love the collecting aspect, especially introducing it now to my son. That's the best part of it now.
They will keep raising prices and reducing potential value as long as there is no competition and they can maintain the demand for cards. Also, a big bonus for them is that this is the first set of 2024 and people are itching for cards and the season to start.
i can't believe there isn't even a break on buying a case. thats is $1000 on all the big sites. i am going to wait till black Friday and buy the same case for $500. i can't believe how the price keeps going up and up. bleeding us dry
Fanatics bought the exclusive rights to produce baseball cards at the absolute peak of the pandemic craze, paying an astronomical amount, so no matter how you look at it they are eventually going to lose their azzz on the deal. So they will indeed try to money grab at every opportunity in a desperate attempt to get some of their money back. It’s no secret, Topps hanger boxes have always had value; and Fanatics saw an opportunity to take some of that value back and put it in their pockets
Just wait til the usual breaker channels pull some crazy stuff out of hanger boxes, the secondary market will be selling hanger boxes for 30 dollars each 🙄
Well you guys hoard them st stores. Its no surprise. If they continue to sell why not make a profit. The buyers dictate the market. You have these degenerate gamblers raising the price and ruining the hobby. Kabooms and Downtowns are cartoonish and silly

Just got back into Topps in 2023. Certainly is confusing with all the different variations and special cards.
Nice Videos! Do you know if they brought/are bringing short prints back in 2024 topps?

Looking forward to the new-look Red Sox front office!
Love that retail comparison idea
The customer gets screwed again. People, wait a month and buy singles or just wait for Topps Chrome.
It like Topps & Panini are fighting to see who can be the bigger worst card shop in the world! lol
All the odds including Monster, Super and Fanatics are all posted on Topps.
Watching my Angels without the narrative of getting Trout and Ohtani to the playoffs. Let young players play with no expectations

As long as people are stupid enough to keep buying new cards, it won't change. I don't miss being conned anymore.
Who is even surprised at this? Fanatics is so greedy, don't be shocked when these have less cards in them too
Just came back with 2023 chrome update and I am looking forward to retail getting some huge love

Stars of MLB can't wait.
I think Target will have the cheapest hanger boxes for series 1
