I've been LOVING watching your cream of the crop series! I've been making a top 100 list along with you and I can tell that your channel has definitely influenced a lot of my board game purchases 😁 My #20-11 are 20 - Welcome To 19 - Honey Buzz 18 - Planet Unknown 17 - Mansions of Madness 16 - Harmonies 15 - Quacks of Quedlinburg 14 - Final Girl 13 - The Search for Lost Species 12 - Beast 11 - Cartographers
As someone who has Hadrian's Wall at #1, I can relate to the "love it so much that you can't stop playing it until it's too late" arc. I was surprised to see it down at 11, but I feel the same. I'm hoping if I shelf it for a year or two I'll be excited to play it again.
Same here, actually! Hadrian's Wall used to be in my top 5, and whereas it remains in my top 20, it has fallen quite a bit. I haven't finished the solo campaign yet, but I've burnt out a bit on it. I'm definitely looking forward to playing The Anarchy, its spiritual successor.
WOW! Hadrian's Wall at 11. I thought for sure it was your #1 still. Now I have no idea what to expect. Looking forward to the final installment! I think a top ten mechanisms list that includes 2-3 recommendations per mechanism would be a great video idea! I'd totally watch it. 20. Twilight Imperium 4th Edition 19. Ezra and Nehemiah 18. Pandemic Legacy: Season 1 17. Obsession 16. Parks 15. Nucleum 14. The Reckoners 13. The White Castle 12. Weather Machine 11. Dinosaur Island
First of all: I'd love to see a video of your top 10 mechanisms. That sounds like a fun video. And I already have an idea what your number one would be. Or maybe at least one of your top three. For Northwood is a game I'm very much interested in. I've wanted to try out more solo games for a long time and this one looks so cute. And I think it's a nice little challenge for me to beat the game. Welcome to... is a series I would really like to try. Same thing can be said about Three Sisters & Co. and Hadrian's Wall (which I would have expected in the next video). I just feel like that I don't really "get" roll and writes. I need to watch more RUclips videos I guess since even the easy ones are too complicated for me. I was told to start with the Ganz Schön Clever! series. Would you agree that this is a good entry into the genre? Aquatica is so beautiful and one that is on my wishlist as well. It's also my highlight of this video.
Very cool list. #18 seems really fun, I've been seeing a lot of recomendations of "It's a wonderful world" and the theme seems nice to me, I'll look more into it. @6:35 That's seems like a very nice idea for a video. A list of your favorite mechanics and one game recomendation for each (maybe 2 or 3? Your favorite, of course, and maybe another recomendation but with a different theme?)
I love that you have so many x-n-writes this high on your list. I think a lot of time they get a little dumped on especially for solo play, I think because so many are beat your own score solo.
Huzzah!! It's so cool to see what peoples' favourite games are! Of these I have played Isle of Cats, IAWW, Viticulture, and Welcome To... I keep hearing how good Hadrian's Wall is, and I do love a good solo game. I also really want to try out the rest of them. I love ... and write games. :)
I still need to finalize my top 25 list. There are several on your list that will be on my list as well. I really like how you are doing your number and title in the bottom left.
Some greats on here! We gotta play Viti, IaWW and Welcome To on BGA :) and this is where I stop posting mine in the comments because my top 20 is coming soon. Off to watch your top ten!!!!
Holy heck! Seeing Your number eleven was a shocker to me. But it sounds like you got a lot of love out of Hadrians Well. Can definitely say your preferences are dynamic 😊
My Top 20-11 would be: 20 Marvel United 19 Pagan Fate of Roanoke 18 Unmatched 17 Root 16 Beast 15 Black Rose Wars 13 Keep the Heroes out 12 Raiders of Scythia 11 Rising Sun

OMG I'm making our girls watch this video and tell them they need to learn from Penny! The peek a boo killed me!!! ADORABLE!!!
Whoa dude. Ya girl loves her blank and writes!
I love your videos...such a god vibe to them. Your taste in games is very similar to mine. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much for starting these recent videos with Penny and Walt. Francis and Walt off camera audio was funny.

I just recently played Aquatica for the first time, and loved it. Is it too soon to look into expansions for a game when you've only played it once? 😂

19 Pagan Fate of Roanoke
18 Unmatched

Hi friend!😊
Have you played the original version of Broom Service, Witch's Brew?
I’ve only played viticulture so I have some new games to add to the list.
60 plus games of Hadrians Wall in two years? There is something very wrong with you... Subscribed.
I'll trade you for Broom Service
