  • In a suburban California town, a meteor known as Miller’s Comet is scheduled to pass the area. As a result, eight friends, led by hosts Mike and Lee, plan out a dinner reunion to celebrate the passing of the rare comet. At the agreed time, one of the guests named Emily pulls up at the venue and calls her boyfriend, Kevin to inform him of her arrival. While on the call, Emily notices the network connection is bad and takes a look at her phone. To her utmost surprise, she discovers the phone screen had cracked on its own with no viable explanation as to how it happened. Emily finds this to be quite strange but doesn’t think much of it as she joins the reunion dinner.

I don’t get why in these type of films the characters always fight each other and then somehow don’t realise that what they’re planning is probably what the other versions are planning too

You can explain that by “bad writing.”

Not gonna lie when I saw this movie on Amazon i though it would be some wack indie about nothing. But I was surprised to find what could be the new Primer. Sadly I had no one to talk about the movie with. Great vid.

fun fact, they used a lot of non actors in this and also didnt tell them what would happen so some of the reactions to jump scare moments/power out etc were genuine

How is it supposed to be possible for a comet to have “passed a small Finland village”? If something is passing by the earth in space, it cannot possibly “pass by” specific geographic locations as described. This is an idiotic concept.

Tbf, the "closest point" of terrestrial earth maybe was somewhere in Finland. Topography and ommission of consideration of obvious issues aside. While I get what you mean, there absolutely IS a "near side" to any interstellar object.

It seems to be a pretty stupid and scientifically illiterate plot device to say that some specific community will have a particular view to something passing by in space.

This channel is clearly produced by someone who is British but is using an American-accented AI voice.
    You’re not fooling me.
